Essence doesn’t work for me. The ELF brands are normally pretty good. They lift and give my lashes volume. But, honestly, I think it just depends on what type of lash you have and what type of lash you’re wanting

the essence one for me makes my lashes clumpy so instead of using the teal essence i use the pink almost magenta one

Literally ALL my cosmetics are now drug store brands. Maybelline and L’Oreal make the BEST foundations. I’ve tried super expensive ones and none of them look as good as Maybelline. I mainly just splurge on a hydrating primer and I love the one from Fenty.

I’d recommend priming the brush with a gob of product vs sticking it directly with a tool. It’s essentially doing exactly what you said not to do for the same reasons. Just a friendly suggestion, especially for those just starting off. Pro makeup artists all prime the brush with product to apply a light, even layer, to prevent patchiness and over applying to areas… and that’s people who known makeup and have worked in the field for ages.

Oh I haven’t seen this on the market yet! There used to be curling irons sold that had a water chamber to steam and therefore lock in the curls and I’m talking like 70 years ago, and I’ve never found anything even remotely similar with the water technology. I just looked up the results of the better one that does not rip out people’s hair and the price of that is insane for the technology being that old and just water to make steam which you hair damp would do anyway

What’s up with the touchland hand sanitizer? Is it the shape and convenience of the packaging, the scents, you don’t need a lot so it lasts a long time, it being hydrating and not drying like most are, it being a non sticky or non stinging spray? I can’t figure out why people like that stuff so much. Someone please tell me why this is such a must have over other spray hand sanitizers. Tia!

You do not play when you show dupes. A lot of influencers call an alternative, not exactly the same but somewhat close, dupes all the time. You not just dupe formulas but even go right down to shades often time. Appreciate your time, energy and great work.

Catrice is so underrated as is Moira and it’s only because they aren’t sold in store. If they were, other brands would really be hurting.

The Elf Extender tubing mascara is amazing. It’s a must have and the brown is a true brown, not that gray or black brown. You don’t have any smudging transfer flaking or anything and it’s not hard to take off so it doesn’t damage the lashes like a lot of these mascaras do.

The Elf Squeeze Me is the same as I can get at the dollar stores. Their new lip balm in the pot however is fantastic. Not a fan of the Studio Elf brushes but do like the Precious line, even the $1 ones they first started with. Sonia Kashuk, Flower, Haley, Colour Pop, Milani Face brushes all are far better. The Loreal Panorama I keep hearing gives panda eyes after 2 hours.

The Physicians Formula needs to be expanded in shades and undertones because they just have one shade, but the formula is beautiful and it can be applied directly to the skin or from the hand/palette and blends out just as well. Most these liquid bronzers are weak, way too pigmented and apply so patchy it’s embarrassing. I absolutely agree with you on the Colour Pop and the shade selection is really good with a lot of good undertones even- not typical at all among brands. Milani cream bronzer is a spot on dupe for the Tower

You gotta try the new Maybelline products. Lifter lip liner is identical to Makeup Forever infamous wood lip pencils. Their multi stick is really good, along with their Lumi matte foundation, but prep the skin well, or it will emphasize dry areas.
