Room 57 is a short film that was shot over one day, with one camera and a small crew. The aim of this project was to create a scenario that allowed me to choreograph and direct a fight sequence.
I trained with Jim and Aron (both trained in Krav Maga) and we built a set especially for the shoot, which allowed us to control the light levels and design the space to work around the fight (big thanks to Paul Flory-Bryan for helping out on this).
All shot on a Sony F3, handheld, with a 35mm Zeiss Prime. Edited in Final Cut and graded in Da Vinci.
Looking forward to shooting some more sequences like this on a bigger budget!
