We honored special event guests: Dominican Sisters of Hope, Ulrich and Noreen Rosa, Weitzman Associates, LLC, and KDA Architects for their years of hard work, dedication, and for their passion and commitment to our cause.

The Dominican Sisters of Hope are 100-plus Catholic Dominican Sisters who have committed their lives to living and preaching the Gospel message of Hope. Since 2009 the sisters have been present at Wartburg sharing their gifts of art, prayer, ministry of presence and pastoral care.

Wartburg Board of Directors and Staff gather together to celebrate the "Topping Off" of the Living Center; a new state of the art Alzheimers and Dementia Care Center being built at Wartburg and slated for completion in August, 2023. This ceremony signifies reaching the top floor of the build. We are excited at Wartburg for a new opportunity to serve our community!

The New Living Center will be a state-of-the-art facility that will bring resources and support to those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia related diseases. Our Annual Fall Festival was held on Saturday, September 24 on the beautiful meadow of our 34 acre campus! The festival featured performances by Mariachi Sol Mixteco, The Speakers from Lagond Music School and Caribbean Crusaders. We also had an African Drumming Circle, a Petting Zoo, a Bouncy Castle, Food Trucks, a Beer Garden, an Art Exhibit, many vendors and more!

Wartburg invited Mount Vernon residents and the greater community to Music on the Meadow 2022, a free event held on the meadow at Wartburg featuring live entertainment by Uptown Royalty NYC and music from DJ Kool-D.
