Watching these types of shooting competitions I’m always baffled by the magazine and feeding issues they have with these custom built $3000 plus rifles
@@tgself1990 thanks for watching. It is usual nerves and trying to move quick and short stroking causing the seeing issues
Why get so excited? Is it for the camera?
@@txlongarm that was his first buck. Took about a hour to get him, thought he was leaving multiple times as he was on a hot doe and as always last hunt of the trip
@@roamingshotuuummm…ok. (I was tempted to say “so what”, but I’m trying harder to understand these newer generations)
@ say what you want bud free country.
If you’ve never hunted then you just wouldn’t get it I guess lol. Fixed dropped a stud. First buck or 25th buck, that adrenaline rush is the same every time.
I have watched this Episode 4 of the 1000 yard clay pigeon challenge several times a day to try to prepare myself to become one of the participants in the challenge. I have enjoyed seeing all the different shooters and different types of guns that were used to compete in this challenge.
Episode 3 of the 1000 yard Clay Pigeon Challenge - I have watched this episode over and over again, following each shooter as they attempted to get as far as they could in the 3 1/2 minutes, I thoroughly enjoyed these episodes. I started building and working on weapons to one day possibly be able to shoot in one of thee competitions.
I've watched this Clay Pigeon 1000 yard Challenge numerous times. The way the range is set up is amazing. There are so many targets out there to shoot at You' and all your employees have made a wonderful range for people to come and shoot. Thank you very much for all you have put into this range..
I got hooked on watching the first episode of the 1000 yard Clay Pigeon Challenge and I watched this episode over and over again. I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this level of entertainment. Very well done! Enjoyed it tremendously.
@@virginiabourn3426 thank you glad you are enjoying it
There is nothing new under the Sun. People are rediscovering the 220 Swift, in a new package. Marketing department at Hornady is better than Joseph Goebbels.

56 years ago when sniper training I was told mark1 eye ball dont adjust the scope after sighting in watch the wind observe how the birds are flying and where on your scope the rounds impact and adjust your hold over not your scope if you rely on instruments you fail as a sniper.
@@raymondwilliamblack yes sir different times and equipment now. However equipment can/ will still fail
I was most impressed with Sierra. I’ve got my 13yo granddaughter shooting out to 400yds with her REM. 700 Police Sniper System (PSS)… Observation : Kids take to advice/instructions better than adults…

You guys are 4 real
You need Jake Graves out there. He hit a Copenhagen can on his second shot from a cold bore at 1,000yds. No walk up, no spotter.
@@rickschwertner282 tag him love to have him out
Good stuff! But watching the guy drop a mag and load one round in a mag everytime was killing me lol. Can you tell him he can just leave the mag in and put a round in the chamber through the ejection port?
@@jrb1263 lol
So many shooters waste a massive amount of time dialing their elevation on the first 5 targets versus doing a holdover, as well as single feeding when they have a magazine fed gun.
@@MikhaelWest plenty of time to dial and shoot or hold and shoot also enough time to single feed it. I hear what your saying and it makes sense. Come on out and give it a try.
@roamingshot if you weren't a 3000 dollar round trip flight to another country I would love to.
@@MikhaelWest lol I understand
What a fantastic channel! Im so happy I stumbled on it! I guess since this is my first time watching I dont know the rules for semi auto rifles. But how about two separate classes for this competition both bolt gun and gas guns? Thanks for the enjoyable video!
@@mikesimpson6757 man we are glad you found us. That was on the shooter it wasn’t on us he could have loaded out. He had trouble with a magazine he was playing safe than sorry. Thanks for the feed back
Vortex, have you lost your mind by not using Applied Ballistics???
Great shot, attitude, and smile. No homo, just an infectious demeanor. Reminds me of my best buds
U should be able to pick ur target. An impact is a impact
@@remington7009 yep some can some can’t. Some berms have more grass then first and some days it’s damp and others it’s dusty, all part of the challenge.
Just randomly came across these videos today. And i have to say this is freaking awesome. Gonna have me putting up clay bird stands every hundred yards across my farm lol. If i get it set up ill let u know and u can come to Sw Pa and shoot on my farm for a day or week if u want. Ill have clays set all the way out to 2k if u want them

Does it really matter if there's a clay in it. Give them the point
This is an awesome challenge. I would like to suggest to start coaching your shooters about sky loading. Its just safer practice to not have a hot firearm while munipulating the scope or moving the rifle with a loaded chamber.
know your zero
Second shooter was left handed and looked right eye dominant. My son has the same issue and it makes learning to shoot a lot more difficult.
Which kit was it, just bought a 110 and ya it’s clunky.

Clays at that range would be hard. Tip to people like guy number one, quit breaking your cheek weld from the rifle every time you cycle the bolt. Keep your face on the gun and observe your shot. Follow through. That’s an awesome challenge
Really enjoy this but have trouble keeping track of the yardage they are attempting with each shot.
Definitely shows that it takes more than a good rifle to make the shots..
