Just got done sanding a 25 x 25 deck. What a PITA. Older deck boards tend to cup slightly and then you have to sand over and over again to level it. Took forever.

Oh, no. Connecticut has a lot of beauty, but in my opinion, the “beaches” are not one of them. I was working in a hospital in Conn and wanted to go to a park on the “beach” to take a picture of a lighthouse. I was not allowed to drive through without paying a $20 fee. The coast of Maine is breathtaking and has much beauty free to access. I suggest continuing North.

Prospect's a nice town, but... It does leave some things to be desired, however, like easy to access shopping. Unless it's available at La Bonne's, CVS, or Dollar General when the roads are a mess, then good luck getting to Cheshire, Waterbury, or Naugatuck, the three closest towns with major stores.

the best thing you can do is steer clear of Milford. It is a good place to stay away from. The cops are total abuser/hoodlums. Not a place you want to be. It is a very very very bad place.

Thanks for the ride down memory lane, growing up in Southbury from 57 to 78 and traveling all these roads while visiting family in all these beautiful towns. Now in Florida where these kinds of roads and trees don’t exist..Miss it all , especially in the fall.
