wow, I've been looking for inspiration lately because I want to make a short film just like this for a while now. but the only camera I own is a coolpix s4000 😭, but ill make the most of it. I'm going to Boston in October and maybe new york but I want to make a short film that gives eerie vibes , idk how to describe it but I have the vision in my head. amazing video btw :)
glad you can use this as a reference bro! i'm assuming you talking heavy contrast in the lighting and colors when you say eerie. if so, i say focus on your lighting and shooting from the shadow side as a baseline.

cheers bro! most of it was the tried and true tamron 28-75mm gen 1. wide overheads and POVs were samyang 18mm and tight overheads were tamron 70-180. 1/4 mist and tiffen VND on everything or cranked aputure if I got lazy haha

I watch vuhlandes 90% for his short films. Danny gevirtz and eric floberg are some constant inspos for me also. Daniel Simmons and okdean aren’t photographer youtubers but puts a lot of effort into their compositions also.
