Hello, I'm Sandra.

This channel is a personal vlog about my experiences dealing with Colon Cancer, which began at the start of 2020 and the Pandemic that hit the city of Edmonton Alberta.

I completed 5 weeks of chemo therapy and radiation. I had surgery to remove a large tumor in my pelvis that resulted in me getting 2 ostomies. Then after being hospitalized for almost 7 months (due to complications and contracting Covid) I had lost muscle mass from lack of use and needed a walker to be able to walk again. As part of my illness, I also lost my appetite and had a feeding tube that I was sent home with as well.

There was alot to get adjusted to, alot to learn, and alot to recover from. It was overwhelming and I almost gave up. I find myself wondering... is this my life now? Can I do this? Am I still alive for a reason? Despite these difficulties, can my dreams still come true?
