Thanks Brian! The Neo is terrific for its cost and what it can do 👍correct! I am using the DJI Mic 2 which for the best quality audio I prefer to record straight onto the Mic's interal storage whilst clapping in front of the Neo and using this to sync the audio up with the video in post. 😁🤙

Thank you Christoph! It's good fun riding in snow, although admittedly a cautious one but still enjoyed 😂 just wish the ice on the roads getting there wasnt as bad but still managed. Shots on the Neo turned out really well, very impressed with drone especially for the price. Have a great weekend as well! 😁🤙

@@bigstoozeradventures Trail starts just down from three Brethern cairns, a few technical features near the top and some steep bits through trail but overall a great one to start on. Tried a couple of other reds but was too muddy and bog like to ride them properly. One for the spring/summer. Cheers Stoozer! 😁🤙

@@ckMTB Thank you Christoph, this was a fun flow descent with a couple of technical features to keep it interesting. One of many trails in Yair forest, had attempted a few others but too muddy will come back in spring/summer and try again. Have a great week and hope you get some riding in 😁🤙

@@mad-about-scotland Cheers yes took a few attempts still some steep stuff I couldn’t ride but just get off and walk round, not worth the risk! Apparently there’s a blue right at the top of the ski lift (on trail forks) but it’s called “Nae Danger” which makes me think it might not be 😂😁🤙

@@brianbathgate4944 It is that Brain, goes for miles would have liked to have gone further on to Ben Alder bothy have seen others on RUclips doing this looks great, fantastic scenery to boot, thanks! 😁🤙

@@emtb-explorer I did it back in March and it was awesome, I got to the 2nd Bothy and the snow wasn't too bad, but the hike-a-bike up was brutal, the snow got deeper and deeper, and I had a 23kgs ebike to get up it. Absolutely amazing day, but I'd love to go back in the summer and do it when the hike wasn't so hard. Least there's no midgies when it's baltic :)

@ Doing this in summer is also something I’d love to do as well more daylight definitely a dealbreaker heard the hike a bike up from the 2nd bothy was rough, how long did it take you?

@ Just checked my Strava, I was 5hrs moving time, 4k ft of climbing and just under 40 miles, it was all plain sailing until that feckin hike-a-bike - ha ha. Ill never forget getting back to the van, bike was on 3% battery, my watch said my body battery was 5% and rest was advised - ha ha - got the diesel heater on and had some cake. Perfect. 🤩

@@bigstoozeradventures Thank you Stoozer, due to time of year, catching trains and weather only managed to get about half the way I wanted to spent about six hours including riding time, was a great trail but reckon it would take about 10 to 13 hours to do this comfortably getting to Ben Alder cottage and back so one for the summer and probably an overnight stay somewhere for me. Some spectacular scenery on the way there and back, no one else around. Misty footage added to great atmosphere. Would definitely go there with you, quite a few streams to cross but worth it. Will see what we can arrange in the longer nights, all the best Gary 😁🤙

@@bigstoozeradventures This is one I have been wanting to do for a while on Arran despite ferns being very long in bits still enjoyed the ride and the views were excellent, unfortunately had old drone and was having problems focusing it but would consider doing this route again, cheers for comment Stoozer! 😁🤙

@@bigstoozeradventures Thank you Stoozer, the top of Marley and me was great but got very technical near middle to bottom and trail end vanished had to walk through forest to get to forest track, the farm tracks a good one actually came up this way from north third that’s how I found it. Worth a look. 😁🤙

There's a strava link in the description with the exact route I took, was planning to go further but was relying on trains so was limited but took around 6 hours including breaks, crossing streams and fixing a puncture basically went as far as I could up the path on Ben Alder and turned back.

Much prefer the route alongside Loch Ericht starting at the chapel and heading up to the Bealach Dubh from Ben Alder cottage to finish with the Culra descent.

@@IanCran76 Thanks Ian had a great time up in Dalwhinnie it is a stunning place to visit, scenery was amazing would have liked to have stayed longer but was there for day and relying on trains to get back home, recommended! 😁🤙

Weather was too rough at top to fly drone but glad got some great shots, Rannoch to Ben Alder cottage sounds like a great challenge have passed Rannoch station as many times on route to Spean Bridge for Fort William and thought about places you could ride from Rannoch. @@ckMTB Thank you Christoph, it’s been one I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, wanted to try getting to Ben Alder bothy but would probably need double time to do this comfortably and get back again but despite that some really beautiful scenery, waterfalls, Loch Ericht and impressive lodge houses, glad the drone shots turned out well couldn’t fly it from top of trail due to weather but still managed at bottom. I was the only person out there enjoyed ride there and back despite pinch flat and having to cross a few streams but all part of the fun! Have a good weekend too! 😁🤙

Not far from the top of North Third Hill was a decent trail only thing got very gnarly after the grass path and trail disappeared near the bottom so had to climb my way through bushes but downhill bomb down the Farm track was fun, this path actually take you up to the top of North Third Hill, need to explore this area further, cheers! 😁🤙

Thank you Stoozer, had a look at the veggie start would probably take a few attempts to ride that, but managed the end of the red trail at the end of route 77 so happy with that. The Max handles low light not too bad I usually keep protune and automatic exposure settings and adjust the EV settings according to how bright it is most of this is ev -1. Great fun being back in Stirling had nosey at top of north third hill, cheers and all the best Gary 😁🤙

@@Stefan-i2v Thank you Stefan, it took about 2 hours 30 minutes roughly as was cycling from the town of Aviemore, most of which was pushing bike up steps and steep sections of path to top. Took roughly an hour to get back down, apparently theres an easier way up from the bottom of you take another route further along check out Strava should show different routes for area, thanks! 😁🤙

@@Stefan-i2v Thank you Stefan, glad you enjoyed yesterday lots of trail parks and wilderness/mountain trails across Scotland from Glentress in the south to Nevis Range in the north, Laggan Wolftrax is great fun great selection of well made trails including a big steep rock slab called Ayers rock, recommended! 😁🤙

It's great to see people take on the Southern Upland Way, this part going from Traquair to Three Brethren overall was very ridable which cuts through the Innerleithen MTB trails, there was one part of original trail cut off for forestry work however took the minch moor ascent and got back onto the Southern Upland Way further up so no probs. A couple of boggy bits but nothing you couldnt walk or ride around. Really enjoyed this trip may consider SUW one day or maybe different sections, cheers! 😁👍

Thanks Stoozer, I have always looked across at the hills any time I have been cycling from Galashiels to Innerleithen and wondered what it would be like to cycle across them, great that part of the Southern Upland way takes you across from Traquair. Glad I had the good weather for it some great views and there is others trails in the area I'd like to explore, cheers for comment all the best Gary 😁🤙

Cheers Stoozer yes managed the weather was ok up until 4 pm when it absolutely lashed down, luckily enough had that shelter behind me to stay in which has some benches in it too but got soaked later on during rain storms. Enjoyed all trails here great addition to other trails in Arran and well made. 😂 Good point never through of my grip colour, really enjoyed my ride it is great to get up in the hills and cycle across to the Three Brethern cairns. There's also trails just down from the cairns which I had time to ride one which I will post soon, thank you for comment Christoph, very much appreciated! 😁🤙

Enjoyed both the red fast trail blue has some great berms on it, jump line short but good fun and well made. Well catered for bike park climb up to trails easy as well thanks for comment and great addition to other trails across Arran, cheers! 😁🤙

This has been a project started by both local rides and Arran High School mountain bike club to build a local riding facility been a few years in making done a brilliant job of building not only some great trails in addition to the local rider built trails but also installing Velosolutions pump track long with a shed for riders to sit in when it rains (which it did when I was there, glad of it 😂) and bike wash and pump facilities excellent place, happy you enjoyed this video Christoph thanks for comment and enjoy your weekend too! 😁🤙

Actually got it new Stoozer but got lucky there was a big discount at time of sale, sold Mavic pro drone to put towards it too. Great drone for following, discovered using hip (or bum) bag handy for keeping controller in. Actually easier taking the forest road down to the reservoir then following path back up other hill out takes you to bottom of east cairn hill. Cheers Stoozer! 😁👍

Cheers Stoozer, East Cairn actually has a couple of descents including this one, great trail with plenty of twists and features on it. Despite forgetting my hip bag for controller still managed some decent drone footage. Had tried to get to West Cairn Hill but couldnt find path thick grass hard to get through and pretty boggy up top, but there are other ways in will explore these and the surrounding hills in West Pentlands, welcome to join if free, all the best Gary 😁🤙

Thanks Christoph, DJI Air 3 worth it great at following on various parts of the ride, never get fed up of visiting Glencoe with its open and beautiful scenery although I didnt ride on this occasion there's a mtb park in Glencoe with a chairlift up to the top and cafe at bottom, also enjoy riding west highland way from Bridge of Orchy to Glencoe and back, great day out, thanks and have a great day! 😁🤙

Thanks Stoozer, enjoyed my ride starting from west kip and heading east got great weather haven't tried this in opposite direction could be good. Yes this was shot on the Air 3 a great drone first proper time out with it great at following, currently on non biking holiday with family in Anstruther getting lots of practice. 😁🤙
