Family survived WWII in Malta - THX for history - always wondered why my dad who landed at Normandy never mentioned it. I guessed ir was too hard for him to talk about it. Just learning about my family history there and cannot believe what i have discovered so far. Family member in Knights of Malta - The Cassars -Girolamo Cassar -1520-1592 Architect and military engineer -Various buildings in Valletta, including Saint John's Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster's Palace and the suberges= so far. So, thx for your video.

I didn't realise there were so many places of historical interest in Kirkwall. Very interesting.

I was onboard last week going from Southampton to New York, via Le Harve. One of the onboard lecturers was Stephen Payne OBE, designer of QM2. He explained why there is an upper and lower Deck 3. It is to allow easy egress for the crew from their quarters in case of an emergency.

Looks like a lovely ship.You certainly won 't go hungry on it!

Thanks for the video from a place I would most likely never see. :) However, it is not possible to replace propeller blades at sea. They carry them for replacement in a port should that be needed, because their shape is unique to this particular ship.

Great video William. Have to watch Part 2 now. Like the 'forward' view of the Insta. Not so keen on the 'curved' nature of the rear facing but intrigued as to where it's mounted. Liked the 'slide' to the sea at the traffic jam, so much better than the rear view of cars. I think I'll have to get one. Must get over to NI again. Still one of my best trips. Not least as I was on my own and could please myself!! Policeman hey, geez, that've have been fraught. Remember a garage owner (Noel) on the road into Newry used to be a stop off for police and soldiers from the station there for sweets, cigarettes and the like. His house was a security fortress and he kept a revolver about him. They were sad times, but randomly I always felt so very welcome

Really enjoyed this....one of my favourite places to visit.My friend's daughter was married in the Kilmore church.Would highly recommend this museum to any visitors to Northern Ireland.

The building you named as the Museum is in fact The Watt Library. The McLean Museum and Art Gallery is behind it. The entrance to the museum is just around the corner from where you were. Thank you for showing the better side of Greenock.
