How is effie?

Poseidon was built in 1933 by Hudswel and Clarke in Leeds. Poseidon is a 20 inch Miniature Loco. First ran at Golden Acre Park and then the Parks Railway shut in 1938. Poseidon and Robin Hood would move to Black Pool Pleasure Beach and then Cleethorpes and moved to the NBR in 2006 with her sister Robin Hood and have been running their ever since. By the way Good Luck with Poseidon can’t wait till she’s back out on the tracks.

I am a lover of all things of rhe ecml, from the GNR through to BR steam, of all the locos made regardless of company I think the Ivatt C1 large boiler arkantics are the most elegant loco ever made. They seem to remind of for some reason an elegant Victorian woman. The Atlantic wheel arrangement is very pleasing to the eye and I would love to see 251 run again.

I hope No. 24 will return next year, if it does, them maybe it can visit RH&DR in 2025 for a Gala, and maybe in the future when Effie returns, she can visit RH&DR too, and as for your next visiting engine, I think it might be Lydia or Mr Hallworth from the Perrygrove Railway.

The carriage looks fantastic . What an amazing addition to the railway that will be , especially on a wet day ! 😅 Not sure about the guest loco on a different gauge . Maybe a guards van to sit in as an extension to the Signal Box Inn 🍺 🍻 !! You lads put in some effort , unsung heroes ! Have a great New Year running ! 🥳🎉

Now this really is an impressive update, especially on what the award-winning cleethorpes coast light railway (along with it's many volunteers) have been up to, even during 2024. Sometimes the CCLR as well as any other fellow heritage railway attraction can be so busy, they rarely get-round to future occasional update vidoes in-between. A tip-top 10 out of 10, and compliments of the season of goodwill & yuletide splendour for the CCLR to fondly endeavour.

Travelled many a mile behind that at Longleat back in the day!

I remember 1st seeing & riding behind this engine at Longleat years ago, Good to see it have a new home too, also just a suggestion, after doing all of the engines currently on Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, could you all do a Loco Histories vid or videos of other engines that have worked on this line like Sian, Katie,King George, The Royal Scot, the Sutton Flyer & more Please. ruclips.net/video/KLoOhbdXUSk/видео.html

Wow what a great awesome exciting story of that Engine used at Longleat.

May I recommend adding a black outline to the green text, so that it is easier on the eyes to read? Otherwise brilliant video as usual!

I'm confused. Why does it have a german name? It was built as a USA engine in the UK, rebuilt as a British outline engine and operates in the UK... Where does Germany come into all of this? I feel like something important got missed out here.
