I heard that the song was actually about her anxiety’s of being on the internet and her struggles, the reason it’s called the vampire is cuz she craves affection from a specific person and she will ‘suck’ on them and make them her own. It’s got a bit of romance and some sexual reference, but in the og song it says “the fruit of anxiety’s” I think, this means the addiction of being on social media, and felling adrenaline going through it all, in addition, in this song, it’s says “if it’s not you than it just wouldn’t do” and “let me worship you till we’re through” which is backing up my point on the addiction of affection and wanting to cling or suck the affection out of someone.

Wow, it's way more complex than i thought. I imagined it was just about depression so things like "I'm black then I'm white" were about sudden mood changes from that state, "why can't i see all the colors that you see" would be the character questioning why they can't see the good things others see, and "run away and never look back" sounded like trying to escape/cope with the trauma. I guess this is also a way to interpret? A way duller one but alright. I like yours better.

Lower is actually a song commissioned by the game Project Sekai for the character Mizuki Akiyama in the unit Nightcord at 25:00 for the event My Footprints Your Destination, in the event Mizuki is having a hard time deciding to tell N25 their secret or not, being afraid of N25 leaving them after learning their secret and feeling guilty not telling them it, Mizuki’s friend Ena gets suspicious of their behavior and at the end of the event she confronts them and tells them that she’ll wait until Mizuki tells her their secret (it’s been like 3 years) in the game Ena and Mizuki are represented as hermits, an upright hermit means guiding the lost which is Ena, while an upside down hermit means exile and loneliness which is Mizuki, in the game’s 2D mv we can see a throne in the middle of a stage, to sit on one you need power, the reason why Mizuki can’t sit on it is because they can’t tell N25 their secret, in one part of the mv Ena is trying to reach Mizuki’s hand but they just look away, it means how Ena is trying to find Mizuki’s true nature, at the last in the mv Mizuki is seen alone while far as possible from the throne, perhaps it shows how far they’re from telling N25 their secret, this is just my interpretation so please correct me
