For future reference i was able to go high enough on my Nightwing they stopped spawning and my wanted level dissappeared. I flew up off a high surface and up for about half the stamina bar the just hovered a bit. Also passives matter getting mounts with swift runner or nimble increase their speed. Better yet all 3 but you'd probably have to breed for that. Legend or Lucky are good but you need to breed that onto the others I like a lot of the pals in this game too. And... .... yah Lovander is not my fav either. Dumud would be good for the ranch or boosting ground pal power. Check out his partner skill, drops and work ability Note: take the skill that lets pals implode off Tokotoko and the bees when you get them.... unless you want them to self destruct

also you should craft or make the special item for teaphant (the elephant pal) you can also lie down in bed to make your health heal faster.

you can capture the pal bosses, you just need better pal spheres and that statue you built at your base can also help as well.

Ya... that Dinossom you killed is an amazing Base Pal at early levels... It has level 2 woodcutting and level 2 planting.

You need to feed them cooked food for them to recover sanity from eating. Campfire can be used to cook berries. Cooking food increases the nutrition, and gives the final food some sanity. You really should have a berry plantation so your pals will grow their own food instead of you having to kill chickens every day for them to eat. By killing everything instead of capturing it, you are crippling your experience gain. You get bonus experience for each capture up to 10 of each type of Pal. If you had captured all those chickens, cats etc instead of killing them, you would have leveled up already.
