What I was told by Toyota dealer Toyota is discontinuing the V8 but bringing in the four cylinders hence the reason why the bonnet is so high

I sold a 2011 76 series last year when my dual cab ute came in last year… just like yours but in Taliban Tan after 2 year wait. Great for camping & hunting trips in the outback. Put a 2/3 lockable box on the back & 285x75x16 wheels. Does the job perfectly.

Yes I can vouch for them being the most awesome truck. I waited 2 years and 4 months for my April 2024 76 V8. Can't get the wife out of it!! Lol

I put a set of air suspension bags in the back of mine mate . Makes the ride alot better. Opinions are like assholes every one has one and some stink more then others.... it just makes me smile when I think of you and your dogs heading out in that v8 . Epic

Nice truck mate, make sure you get that factory snorkel sealed up before any deep crossings

Bloody good truck mate. Make sure you get an upgraded cover on the rear diff lock actuator if you haven't already, probably the most common repair I get on them since they have bugger all ground clearance and the factory covers are basically a bit of tin. The actuators are bloody expensive, done multiple units on some vehicles that get used on the stations etc. We've sold quite a few of the v8s at work still, only a few 4 cylinder ones though. I would imagine they will keep making the v8 for the bit longer. It's a night and day difference when they get a clutch upgrade and a tune in them, awesome to drive. Bit silly how gutless they are factory tbh lol. Overall we see bugger all issues with them, and some of the station and mining trucks cop an absolute thrashing. Have had a few sets of swivel hubs leak at low kms but that's were you can't lose with toyota, it's all covered under warranty. Good buy mate

Cracks me up when people criticise other people for buying things that give them joy when its not their money and its not for them to spend it. It dosnt make sense to me.
