We go camping there often, usually under the big tree. There is a new toilet block there now that is a lot more modern..lol. Great spot and great video guys!

Great video, thankyou... I haven't done Cape York yet but want to and would be great to take the pup....Do you think taking an offroad electric bike would be sufficient to park the vehicle with dog inside and use the bike to travel from vehicle to the falls and back, or is it too rough/too far?

Thats discusting 35 bucks to camp near a river that 10 year ago would of been free,this is what we will be doing no matter where we go camping on the beach ,near a river even in the middle of the desert because us pale skinned invaders have to pay them back because it aint our country anymore....very sad *sigh*

Do yourself a favour and don't listen to any random people you meet at the bowser or in the pub on your travels other wise you'll attempt nothing and see nothing, because there is so many who talk total BS about where your going,we learnt that quickly..

Hiya... Thanks for your video! I have the exact same setup. however, I struggle with the pooling of water and have really tried to overcome this several times with different ideas and I reckon the 'ridge' bar needs to have a more acute angle - mine is almost flat with hardly any angle on it - disappointing, and which, of course has caused stretching with the weight of the water on top - I get out with the broom and have to literally push the water off, from underneath, of course. Instead of using the tie-down for your close to the van pole, I have cable-tied it to the mounting bracket of the awning to take the 'strain' so to speak because I have a floor and a skirt and can't secure a peg through either. The only disappointment I have is the pooling of water, it has always done this and I cannot figure out how to overcome it. Yes I am in QLD with intense rain at times - any ideas or suggestions would be awesome! Other than that issue, I agree, I wouldn't be without it! BTW, I have, at times put my 3 step ladder underneath with the broom (soft side upwards) to make, like a tent - raising the roof (again sts), to 2.4m which absolutely creates a run-off. Definitely not a preferred method in the middle of the night (or anytime for that matter), should I contact Extend to see what can be done?
