Thank you for making this video! It’s inspiring to see a teachers life or day in the US bc I’m about to become and English high school teacher in Taiwan. I love the culture and history of the western culture so much and I wish someday I would be confident enough in teaching and having enough time to make such video to show people what it’s like to be a Taiwanese high school teacher. I love Romeo & Juliet for high schoolers lol. I pick apart the scenes that I do. The arguing, the talking behind each other's backs, parents deciding who gets to go to what parties, drugs, fighting in the streets.. I teach kids who LOVE drama, so Romeo & Juliet forces them to see that they are not the originators of drama lol. They get really into it. But I totally understand how some stories can get "played out". Thanks for sharing these ideas! I havent taught a Midsummer's Nights Dream, I will have to see if it is allowed here in the great state of Florida.

Great to hear that you've found Canva and Picmonkey helpful for lesson planning! They can definitely save time and make the process more enjoyable. Have you tried any other tools or platforms that have been particularly effective in creating engaging lessons for your students?

I teach juniors and seniors. We have 90-minute blocks Monday-Friday. That's a LONG time. They are really hard to keep engaged in the last 20 minutes of every class. Any suggestions?

Good Day. Have you ever drafted a Co-teaching lesson plan. If so , may I please have an example.

When I was in 9th grade, I made a 38 for the 3rd 9 weeks. This lowered my average totally, in which I needed to make at least 100% on every assignment till the end of the school year so that I could pass. I busted my tail off scoring 100% on every assignment. By the end of the semester, I finished the 4th 9 week with a 110%. Fast forward to today, I have a Bachelors and two Masters. A former classmate who now works at the same school district that we graduated from now has a position there. He recently posted on social media encouraging English and Math majors to apply. Well, I don’t have an English degree but I do have one in journalism and an additional Masters in Educational Leadership. He said he didn’t see an issue with my credentials. So I just got through submitting my application. Let’s see how it goes. 😊
