For beginners at this, hold the new board up to the old board. Is it the same? Orient the board the same as the installed board. Now pull each plug, one by one. Pull the first plug off, then plug it into the exact same spot on the new board. Repeat this until the board is just hanging by the wires. Then swap the boards onto the printer.

Just replaced the nozzle and found the design for nozzle replacement to be jaw droppingly incompetent. It's like Flashforge went out of their way to make it as unnecessarily convoluted as possible.

Could the Z-axis guides and lead screws be removed by flipping the device over and removing the bottom plate instead?

Sorry. But I can't believe you are using an electric screwdriver? Great way to strip out the plastic in the housing and cross thread the screw.

Never ever use a power drill for such a delicate thing. Good way to strip things out and mis align things..

alright dont know where else to ask for help but dont want to return. just recieved the camera in the mail for the 5m. first thing i notice is no screw. what siz screw is it? is there a printable one? or do i just need to send back

Why is this made from abs instead should be glass fiber reinforced high temp plastic? Why previous gen adventurer used better extruder?

I get irregular traces from the z layer in my prints. I re-done all the calibrations. The printer is on a hard surface. I tried it with a new filament, the situation is the same. How long does it take to check the belt after printing? I printed for about 350 hours.

@Totogoothe @JoeyMohr-yv3lo Did you take out a screw from the extruder? If not, you should use the TORX, not ALLEN, as an allen key provided doesn't do a good job there. This screw releases the push(feeding) mechanism. Also instead of going through a filament loading process for cleaning the clogged nozzle, just increase the temperature of the nozzle on the display(home > top right button). then push carefully the steel stick from the top into the nozzle.

ok, i've had issues with this for a while now... I just tried to unclog the nozzle.. My unclogging tool is securely STUCK in the nozzle from the top of the extruder! HELP!!

I just received my printer and one of the belts is loose... do you really have to do all this just to adjust the tension???

Out of the box, the z axis will not move. The motor attempts to turn the belt but something is stuck. Trying to figure out what's keeping it from moving.
