I personally believe that the God of War universe works on a similar logic to the Highlander series: if one god kills another in battle the victorious party gains the powers and domains of the slain. The Furies, while not technically considered goddesses, were primordial level being nonetheless, and Kratos killed them at his weakest level as a demigod, barely a handful of months after Ares tricked him into murdering Calliope and Lysandra. Kratos may not have claimed the Furies’ powers, but it wasn’t too soon after that when the Gods of Olympus began using Kratos to punish their enemies, and those of Greece itself, with destruction and death, a term of service that lasted 10 years between Ascension and GoW1, with the events of Chains of Olympus taking place roughly halfway between them. It’s my belief that these Highlander rules don’t apply until after Kratos kills Ares and made into the new God of War. After becoming a god, Kratos probably did try to fit in on Olympus for a while, at least until the events of Ghost of Sparta and the death of Thanatos, after which Kratos became the God of Death as well as War. Though in God of War 2 Kratos is stripped of his Olympian powers by draining them into the Blade of Olympus, those get replace relatively quickly by the powers of various Titans: Typhon, Cronus, Atlas, Prometheus. Eventually, after essentially being made a Demi-Titan if not a full-on Titan by killing the Sisters of Fate, Kratos then begins his campaign against Olympus, ultimately slaying Gods and Titans alike along with the few remaining Primordials like Gaia herself, which might have allowed Kratos to become the One True God of Greece if he had stuck around to help rebuild and reign in all the Chaos he unleashed. As an aside, I personally wish that Kratos could channel the power of Zeus’ lightning into his unarmed strikes in the Norse games, no lightning based runic attacks but maybe just some taser fist action and only when in Bare Knuckle mode

Not only vengeance pure hatred, odin even with all his might feared such a creature a man of blood and flesh so angry he became a god and slaughtered the same gods that played with his fate in such ways now aged and no longer a roaring fire but a fine sharp edge of strength that surpassed the old willing to truely use all his strength to end another line of gods for his blood again

Save up for the vigilante, you can use it during Vincent's missions and you can put rockets on it, you can also call it in during the finale after you leave town. It'll spawn itself sometimes but be careful it can de spawn and you'll have to wait to call it in again.

Depends if he has all his magic, weapons and gadgets. With: 80% win Without: probably only around 20-30% Kratos was strong but let's not act that he could have achieved everything he did without the help from the gods/titans and all these artifacts he collected.
