I liked Finn. Hated his death.
This is just gonna break me every time I love him so much he’s my favourite great character
Raven wouldn't killed everyone for you and see what you did to her
2nd best scene of the show, only the end of Season 5 topped this imo. Apparently actor Thomas McDonell suggested himself that he would be killed to give the show a new impulse. Great sacrifice from the actor.
She gave him a merciful death so he wouldn't suffer 🤧
Its so funny to me how Clarke was placed in an impossible situation where she has to pull a lever to irradiate an entire level killing hundreds of people (Kids and elderly included) in an attempt to save her own people, and “fans” would shit on her for that decision but then watch Finn kill countless people for WAY less of a reason Clarke had to kill and actually try to justify his action. A lot of you so called fans are just a bunch of bias people.
The " I'm scared" hits me everytime, so powerful. 😢

The writers of THE100 are stupid. Finn is the best character in season 1 His death so quickly was annoying. I loved him a lot. He reminded me of Leon from the RE series.

Loved this scene. Couldn't stand Finn. He was an arrogant cheater that turned into an arrogant serial killer. There was nothing good about him. He never even apologised to Raven for what he put her through. He didn’t give a crap about the KIDS he executed. Anyone that cried at his death needs to assess their mentality! I cheer at it 🎉
He was never my favorite and didn’t care much for him. I love Clarke and this shit so tough and beautiful and this episode made me love him. So I guess I do love his character. May we meet again Finn 💔

Finn was a favorite character on the show and I stopped watching it after he died.
I’m just glad he wasn’t tortured. What Finn did was wrong but the grounders did start the fight from the very first episode. Yes Jasper crossed to their land but how were the 100 supposed to know that people were alive. Nobody thought anyone could survive the radiation, and they just assumed there was no life left on Earth. It is not the 100’s fault that they crossed into their land. If they would’ve known what would happen they never would’ve tried it. Yes technically the 100 started something but they didn’t start the physical fight that was the grounders. They started the fight with violence and almost killed Jasper in the process. They decided to start the fight in violence and brought it to a whole new level of death. What helps me deal with Finn’s death is that he gave himself up willingly and knew what he did was horrible. He didn’t want any of his people to die for what he did, plus he never forgave himself for killing all those people in the village. I’m so glad we didn’t have to see the grounders torture method, it sounded brutal.

I think I loved this tv series more than any I've ever watched. Incredible acting, actors and writing. It's probably a draw with Game of Thrones. I believe this is the scene Lexa falls in love with Clark. Her incredible will and strength, she saw herself .
True the scene where she first meets Clarke Lexa is curious and doesn’t have opinion. Then she is impressed with them saving Lincoln and she’s interested and maybe likes her. And now she’s in love.

Finn was the only character with common sense and wisdom of all in term of execution & empathy, he knew what to do and when to do. He just went crazy because of Clark. He was the best negotiator and able to align with Octavia's trust. Bellamy is realist, Clarke was once a feeler, then become a realist. While Finn was real b*dass sigma, which was more than capable to be a leader, skillful, he was responsible man, he just killed 18 people 🥲 Not fair!

People need to stop giving Clarke so much shit. She made the decision to kill Finn that way because she knew that Lexa and the grounds would do much worse to him and make his death a spectacle. She saved Finn an extremely painful death.

Not even Lexa saw that coming. Finn's death is the most heartbreaking and when the show proved that everyone was fair game plus willing to really punch the audience in the gut. The entire scene is tragic with Clarke having to kill the guy she loves but having Finn's last words be, "Thanks Princess," goes down as one of most brutally heartbreaking death scenes of any show I've watched.

The whole point was that he was about to be brutally stabbed a dozen times, she killed him so he wouldn't have to die in as much pain. She couldn't fake it or they'd make it much worse. Even this act of mercy by clarke nearly continued the war, if she'd tried to deceive them further and spare him it would've been a huge mess

Ik he was my favorite and the only reason I started watching the show, as soon as he died I stopped watching the show😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
He had a good arc. He was the diplomat that went mad and couldn't hold it together. Clarke continued his legacy of always seeking peace, but she had the "stomach" to handle the situations to come. I liked Finn's character (well, his character's story), but I can't see how he'd fit in with the rest of the show. I think he died at the right time, it would've been worse for him to experience the tragedies that followed - dude lost it and massacred a village because the trauma was already too much. Even the mountain men saga would've been hard for his character. His death was tragic, but well-timed and necessary to move the show from one phase to the next.

Raven was such a drama queen 😬🤦🏻♀️😒 Clarke did what Raven had no compassion and no guts to do. She went to the enemy camp full of armed warriors, she risked her own life so she could help Finn in any way possible and she did help him to avoid a long and horrible death. Raven was always so selfish to Clarke, i can't even. 🙄🙄
Raven didn't understand Clarke's actions but I definitely understand why. Raven was always a sorta "blue collar" counterpart to clarke and the gang. I liked raven's reactions because they made sense from the perspective of someone with limited experience and knowledge of the situations happening, just seeing the tragedy wrought, kinda like Murphy or jasper. She was a traumatized victim like all of them, and sacrificed a lot while never being in the decision room and just expected to carry out whatever they said was the "right, only way". But still, despite her own judgment/bitterness/protests, she always came through to support them. If you aren't in the room with clarke or Bellamy or Lexa or whoever, of course hearing about the outcomes are gonna piss you off. But she never really went against them or claimed she could do a better job, and often showed moments of respect for Clarke's actions, even if she didn't love them.

The absolute lack of logic from all the characters ruined this show for me. Like Finn slaughters 18 people and his people are like “it’s ok because he thought he was rescuing his friends” like wtf the man just massacred >50% of a village how is this just ok
And who in the show said it was ok ? The characters who were trying to defend him had affiliations towards him so.......Plus if anything all of this back and forth on Finn's displayed the hypocrisy of the sky people based on how they were reluctant to have the grounders sentence him as they were still in shock and trying to process the different cultural aspect that the grounders had for punishment; despite them floating people on the ark for committing crimes
They were horrified, but knew and loved him and understood he had a traumatic/mental break. But yeah that's why only raven and clarke really tried to stop his death or were fully mourning/affected by it. I'm pretty sure the rest knew it had to be done.
@Ronald Taylor also, floating wasn't just about punishment but more so an excuse to reduce the strain on resources. The grounders didn't have that issue, and since the sky people were suddenly in a place with abundant (compared to before) resources and had always been focused on saving the human race, executions on the ground seemed more pointless and tragic to them (at first at least - see clarke arguing for that mountain man guy to just be exiled, only for him to come back with a vengeance later, and how she slowly became less finn-diplomatic and more Lexa-cutthroat/realistic/brutal)
I can’t believe he traded Raven for Clarke, Clarke who later sleeps in the same bed with the very same woman who sentenced her lover to death. If that had been Raven in her place she would have slaughtered them all, would she have succeeded? No. Would it have worsen the situation for the others and result in Finns death anyway? Yes, but at least she would have went down fighting without laying a finger on the man she loved. It would have been stupid, reckless and selfish to do anything other than what Clarke did, but only the rare few people with unconditional loyalty will understand what I’m saying.
I know this is 9 months ago, but Finn is most certainly NOT her lover. You didn't miss how dejected she was when Raven was hugging and kissing on Finn? Finn had a girlfriend and didn't tell Clark anything about it because "I didn't know I'd see her again". Utter bull-crap btw lol. If Earth is survivable then what made you think you would never see her again? She flat-out said she didn't want a relationship with him after that. "She should be head over heels for the guy that gunned 17 people down in a village for her" looking ass lmao. This is ignoring the whole suicidal rant of "she should have tried killing everyone and go down fighting!". Holding people to a standard you don't even hold yourself to is foolish. You know damn well you wouldn't do that if you were Raven OR Clark.
