I think Reynobond PE was not the major contributing factor. The main factor was the air gap between two fammable product. The put 150mm (about 6 inch) PIR (similar to polyurethane) panels on the building - as a thermal insulation. Between the thermal insulation and Reynobond PE there were an air gap. This gap worked as a chimney, delivered really fast the smoke, heat, and air (oxygen) up to the top of the building. So if they use Reynobond FP (fireproof, mineral core) the fire can spread similar way - as the PIR insulation is burning the same way. The problem Was not with Reynobond. The problem was with the engineers and the officers (responsible for fire), who planned, accepted this. This cladding is a nightmare bad: - use PIR panels for a high building (mineral wool should be use) - use air gap when flammable insulation use (most countries it is forbidden) - I think this was the most important mistake - use flammable external cladding

Insulation was Cellotex FR 5000. It's been withdrawn from sale , for vertical use, last week. It hasn't burnt all over, in a lot of areas the PE has gone along with the foil covering of the Insulation, but the FR Insulation is still there, and still yellow. For the Insulation as a whole, flat fires after the PE had had gone past, burnt it to a crisp.
