Alan Wake 2 gameplay using 3080ti which has been overclocked as I note the temperatures are a tad high. With the frame generation mod turned on. Quick less than 10 min gameplay with no spoilers using frame gen mod. If you would like a less than 1 minute install guide please let me know. Well overdue upload. Updating the firmware on The Samsung Odyssey G7 is quite easy. If you are having a the black screen or flicker issue I highly recommend giving this a go. However if like me you are having no issues I would not recommend updating the firmware. Unfortunately I overlooked where I placed my RGB and could not go ahead with the update. @@mikefowkes311 so odd. Are your actual video games all up to date? Windows up to date? I have a 4080 super as well and this is exactly what I done to get it working. Can you see the Dlss 4 options in the actual nvidia control panel?

@lu1zp1 I will try and get a used 4090 if they were available, it will probably be a better deal than shooting for a 5080 (and there's no way i can afford a 5090, in 6 months time yes but definitely not now)
@ yeah I will never pay over the £1000 mark for a Gpu. Never will. Also think 40 to 50 series probably isn’t a good shout. 60 series I await 😅

brother this was an absolute disaster in the uk i was refreshing like crazy tried different browsers closed tabs opened them up again and I was never able to buy them. it just went straight from coming soon to oos. absolutely insane, hopefully they have a decent restock next month
@ exactly mate. I literally recorded it on the phone in work. I wanted to see what the window would be this time. I got a 4080super using the exact same method before but this 100% went straight out of stock. Desperate. Although in saying that 5080 wouldn’t be worth jumping to from 4080 super from reviews. Will be doing a lossless multi frame video soon to see results of it 😁

@@OhSwavyyy legit don’t believe any founders went out for normal retail sale from their website. NVIDIA admitted that there was already stock issues. I will post it online here this evening. A lot more content coming guys please sub 2025 going to be a good year 👌🏻🙌🏻

@@quinn3919 hey man I can’t see why not. They are available worldwide this date. Went on to the Netherlands version of the nvidia site and showing all the same info. I’m guessing it will redirect you to another company that will ship to Netherlands. Scan is 100% used for uk founders. Not sure what company nvidia will use for Netherlands. But it’s the same method. NVIDIA site. Go to the card your looking (5080) then keep refreshing as it says either (coming soon or out of stock) then when you see buy now click and autofill the life out of every box to get the purchase done.
So being from the UK can you not buy from the nvidia website?. Do I have to buy from SCAN?
@@jamescunliffe1718 you go through NVIDIA site and when you click buy now it will redirect you to scan if you are in the uk. They fulfill all founders cards orders. I might do a live recording of purchasing a founders card to show this. Also another tip from previous founder drops 14:00 hours seems to be the time they land. Don’t quote me on this for the 50 series

However the issue i’m having at the moment is that I can’t put my credit card details on the website without actually making a purchase. I could use apply pay with my phone however a computer is so much faster than a phone and it’s a race against time at the end of the day. So i am unsure what to do really
@@jamescunliffe1718 hmm I didn’t realise that as I have purchased before with them. Good find. Is there anything cheap ie thermal paste or something you could purchase to have your details pre saved and account created/logged in. Beyond that I would say have them saved with google and auto fill as you purchase. Genuinely though a 45 second delay could cost you not acquiring a card.

Just got 2 questions for you aswell. 1) Will 20% VAT apply to the 5080 which i’m looking to buy making it £1200 2) Would it not be easier to refresh the page on the scan website itself rather than on nvidia which then takes you to scan?
@@jamescunliffe1718 hey good job with thermal paste! 1. No the advertised price is vat included. Think it’s £979 for founders 5080. 2. No honestly nvidia site for the founders card. If your on scan website you won’t see the founders cards but you will see the AIB aftermarket cards at a lot dearer than £979. Im guessing £1200 mark for them. Founders look amazing in my opinion

Why if y turn off g-sync and turn on PC, display do not load post process windows and only load final display desktop logged into you're account. 😂😂😂 Also sometimes need to plug off minitor cable and reconnect to have desktop 😂. hey sorry for late reply, will be adding alot more content this year, In my opinion NO. if its working fine i wouldnt bother updating firmware. If you have flickering issues etc then YES :)

@@36Massaka36 it wouldn’t be recommended or officially supported. It could be done by the same process but using old firmware but there is the possibility of bricking the monitor. I would avoid downgrading. Have you tried turning off VRR ?
Thankyou i gave my son my 360hrz monitor and took his g7 and for the life of me this was a problem following this simple solution fixed it now i am able to enjoy the monitor whew.... was at the point I was gonna grab the 480hrz oled.....

i fixed mine by setting up a custom resolution in nvida control panel and setthing the refresh rate from 240 to 200 hz i think its a bandwith issue

Is there a reason my usb ports don’t work with my peripherals? And could the “Device(Install) (C32G7xT)” file potentially allow my peripherals to work?
they should automatically work, this shouldnt require a firmware update to get them working? What have you tried to connect via them? Did you find a fix? Sorry for late reply had a rough 2024 but im properly back in 2025
HI dear friend ! I have an odyssey g 7 240. When g sync is turned on, does the screen flicker in games((( I have the latest firmware 1016.1 too, I haven’t seen any others. I like the monitor, but the flickering bothers me
Same here, if u turn off the g sync the flickering stops? My cable is a Displayport 2.1 16K and this issue sucks

sorry for late reply, did you find a work around for the screen flickering on the samsung? There was an update specific for it. Have you tried changing any nvidia settings to see if this helps or displayport vs hdmi?

Yo bro thé g sync compatible is not showing in m'y nvidia settings i dont know why even though m'y monitor is free sync but it can be compatible with m'y gpu
you need to have adaptive-sync supported monitör for enable both freesync and g-sync compatible modes

What worked for me was the HDR settings in Windows to OFF. After that, never had a black screen any more.

@@Thebeardedbios it did work once the only thing on my flashdrive was the update file on its own, unfortunately it seems like if you have anything else at all (including the zip file) it does not find an update file if that's what you mean by temperamental

Hey men! Thx! I did turn on VRR and Auto switch this helped me i will try what u did. One thing to know i changed many times the resolution and my resulotion get small when i try to 240 Hz like 1980x1020. andmy resu and my half of my screen gone. I had to move with cursor everything to change back. So the secret is if u counter this "Small screen or resu thing" U need to turn off the pc and plugged out the monitor power, wiat like 30 60 sec and that's all. This will reset ur monitor to ur changes. After that i never ever counter again this, but if i had to change my resu and hz, then i need to do this again.

Hello, i got my samsung odyssey g4 yesterday and the problem for me is: when i turn on my pc, the monitor seems like it doesn't detect the gpu through display port(it only says no signal), but when i restart the pc with the reset button, it starts working perfectly. Anyone could suggest some methods to fix?
Sorry I was away on vacation. Some of them seem to have this issue. Have you tried different display port cable or different port into gpu? Also did you update the firmware? I’m not sure if the g4 has usb port for firmware updates?
@@Thebeardedbios since then it started working by only changing the display port cable to a hdmi 2.0 cable.
@@fentazja good shout. Pity you had to do that but there does seem to be issues with whatever is going on the Samsung displayport connections. I have went to an Alienware recently Ultrawide and very impressed
