I heard a lot about this anime but i think it would be boring, but my lord i couldn't be more wrong, it fkin got me hooked up in the first episode. I loved it so much that i completed it in 2 days, the story pacing is great, the fights are great, the osts are a banger, also the fact this this anime made u care about a character in the first 14 minutes of ep 1 is unreal.

I like how they're chanting "Sousou Frieren" in the choir. It has both inspirational but ominous bits to it. Like how she's akin to the boogeyman to demons but to everyone else she's the mage of the party who defeated the demon king.

I never experienced any music like this, the feeling of joy power and adventure coming from this OST is fucking out of this world.

This came on autoplay in another window and I was instantly transported. I had been meaning to watch this anime, but I had no idea it was this epic. Now at the top of my to-do list.

I already watch it few months ago but just yesterday I discovered HOW GOOD OST is, very fantasy-RPG. PS. Frieren is amazing, no need to be afraid guys. She's like Gandalf of her world. Come here and there for hundred years, do some silly stuff, help some volks. But can go on sirious slayer mod if need.

Journey of a Lifetime is based off of Wild Mountain Thyme, both beautiful songs.

Frieren is the only anime made since _Toradora!_ , _Cowboy Bebop_ , the first arc of _The Twelve Kingdoms_ , _Puella Magi Madoka Magica_ ,and maybe _Ghost In The Shell_ that I've found enjoyable.(i.e., not a mishmash of the exact same shonen trope bullshit). And even Frieren has that shonen trope bullshit sometimes -- like the First Class Mage battle royale drama that sprung from people trying to steal instead of getting their own, when they had to catch a certain thing. The difference, I feel, is that those shenanigans aren't the focus. They aren't even something the main characters truly give a care about. It's about the journey, coming to terms with and recontexualizing the past, watching and helping the new generation on the paths one once traveled or saw others do so, and Frieren learning about herself in the process... all mixed with a careful dose of comedy when and where appropriate, but _not to extremes_ . ...the occaional unnecessary armpit and foot fetish shots on two of the women aside. The beautiful music and animation certainly doesn't hurt. :)
