Has anyone tried the "soft reset" that others have suggested? Hold down the power button and tune buttons simultaneously for 10-20 seconds, then turn it back on. Seems simpler but I'm wondering if it has worked for others.

I will add my observations. It happened to me several times that the screen froze. But once, almost out of anger, I gently tore out the entire frame with the screen and air vents and disconnected the connectors a few times.

Thanks for the video.I think you're on to something. I get this often, it's very annoying. This just happened right now, my screen locked when I was on the way to dropped the kids off at school. After i got back in my van, maybe 10 minutes, and started the engine, screen still said locked. I just sat, in park, here for maybe a minute or two and it unlocked. I usually just turn on the car and drive. I think this may work. I will continue to try this too. Thanks again

The tv remote control works in my phone.. I often use it at my workplace... also to charge my colleagues at my workplace.. 😂
