ToniStamps is who I am, and what I do! I love sharing stamping and paper crafting projects, techniques, and tips with you. I like the interaction with viewers, either with the Live videos, or through comments here. Making boxes and journals/notebooks have always been some of my favorite projects. I've also taken a true liking to making mini scrapbooks and folios - so you'll see some of that here as well.
I truly appreciate you subscribing to my channel, and I hope that you enjoy my videos.

Scenic Route Travel Journal Walk-Through of finished Mini Album!
In this video, I’m putting together the second signature for this journal which I’m using as Mini Scrapbook Album. I show you how to add a flap and create a gusseted pocket from scratch. I explain the math to figure out what size pocket you need, and then walk through my finished book. I still have to add my journaling, but the bones are all here.

Double Waterfall Folio Tutorial
Просмотров 3092 месяца назад
I hope you enjoy making this fun Folio - it's got TWO waterfalls inside and will hold 28 pictures. I even added a pocket at the bottom of one of the waterfalls. Finished size of this album is 4 1/2" x 7 1/2", with a 1" spine. I go through everything to make this mini book - from making a wrapped chipboard cover, to creating and attaching the waterfalls. Waterfall panels are 4" x 4". Please give...

Fantastic projects as usual! I think the snowflake card is my fav!
Sorry I missed you live 🙁. Super cute projects!!!
Very pretty, great to have pictures in albums like that. Thanks Toni.
Thanks so much Ana!
Nice Album. Nice tribute to your friend. Love it.
Thanks Molly! It's fun to make different kinds of albums. I liked this more than I expected to.
Love this Toni! I’m still going to send you my pictures to do 😅 😂
hahahahaha! Thank you Cindi! I am pleased with the final result.
Hi Toni from Palmdale, CA
Hey Rozie!!! I hope you got my late birthday card.
Wedding rings don’t have diamonds.
Oops! Guess it will still work as an engagement card. Thank you for watching!
I love your cards.
Thank you so much!
Watched your replay last night! You did it🙌🏼 you gave me a reason to change my mind about Wild Wheat! Loved all the cards except the Queen bee cards😂🤣the bee looks scary
hahaha! I thought that Bee looked regal in gold. :) Thanks Debra!
I am a hater of Wild Wheat but I know when paired properly it looks good. Your cards are great! Love fall card and that turtle card is awesome!
hahahahaha! I LOVE your feedback BecAnn! I am cracking up. :)
Pretty cool cards, but I'm not sure I like Wild Wheat with Blueberry Bushel. Personal preference. It was cool to see you focusing on a particular color, but I was surprised you didn't use Wild Wheat as a green anywhere. It definitely makes a good green when paired with certain colors, or as a leaf color in 2-step (try with Old Olive, Granny Apple, or even Soft Seafoam). #4 is my favorite. It looks so tropical! And, yes, I absolutely told you about the hand sanitizer. LOL.
Maybe the Wheat and Blueberry looks better in person. You know - it NEVER occurred to me that Wild Wheat would be a green. I will definitely try it with your suggestions. I can definitely see it, now that that you mentioned it. After I shut the video off last night, I went right to my stash of sanitizers and put 3 bottles on my table before I forgot again! :)
Great Card's Toni!
Thanks Gail!
Where did you get the card holder in the background?
Hi Debbie! I got it from Amazon, and I love it. Very easy to assemble, it spins, and holds a lot of cards (up to 5" x 7"). I keep my slimline cards in the top spots. Here's a link: amzn.to/3LvCqZ7
@@ToniStamps Thank you
Watched the replay. Loved it.
Thanks Molly!!!
Good yeh
Thanks for watching Trudy!
Gorgeous cards! I have the Enduring Beauty stencils (that I love!), but did not get the stamps or dies. Will have to try them with markers. I, too, love your earrings!
Thanks Shawn! Definitely let me know how it goes with the markers and stencils. Sue made the earrings. She's so crafty! :)
I so appreciate your honest opinions about products. I love how you think outside the box for your cards! They turned out GREAT! TFS!
Thanks BecAnn! I always try to give good, true info. :)
What glue do you use please?
Hi Patricia! I use either Bearly Art Glue or Art Glitter Glue, for liquid glues. I like them both. If you're wondering what I used to attach the napkins to a cardstock base - I used Adhesive Sheets (double-sided sticky paper). Sizzix used to make them, but now I get them from Stampin' Up. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful projects! LOVE the wedding card, and will be CASEing it later this year. It's perfect.
Thanks Shawn! I'm so glad you'll be able to use it!
Watching replay, beautiful cards Toni. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ana! I appreciate your feedback!
Dawn
Hi Dawn! Thanks for watching!
Sujestion just add a little butterfly on the spot and don’t worry
That is a great idea! I will keep that in mind for the next time I have a boo-boo...because it's bound to happen! :)
Gorgeous cards Toni..love watching you create..thanks for sharing..
Thank you so much Sharie! I appreciate your wonderful feedback.
@@ToniStamps u r welcome
Very pretty cards Toni! Thanks for the tutorial!
You are so welcome Rebecca! Glad you like them.
Watched the replay. Pretty cards.
Thank you!
Gorgeous cards! LOVE how many different techniques you showcased!
I definitely had a great time creating these! Most turned out even better than I expected. Bonus! :)
Watched you make these beautiful cards yesterday! Thank you for sharing
Thank you Debra! I'm so glad you enjoyed them!
You have given me a lot of wonderful ideas. I have to say I really enjoyed learning from you. I have an idea to make an envelope like the long side opening one you showed us. I could make a money gift card and put it into a homemade envelope. there are still some products you used, that I have not tried yet, but will see if I can purchase what I need. thank you so much. P.S. I know you couldn't hear me lol but I was hoping you would put the orange thanks on the brown with a nice thin trim, it really made the card pop. I love it
Thanks for such kind words Wanda! I truly appreciate the compliments. I think a long envelope would be the perfect holder for a money give card. I'm glad I used the orange on that square card too! You're right, it does pop!
@@ToniStamps Your very welcome
I am a new subscriber and love napkin cards thank you. Most of the products you have shown I have, but I am not sure what the shiny stuff is. and I use freezer paper to put napkin on card stock, I have not heard of the adhesive paper before, but don't they do the same? Just asking as I have only been making the cards for a little while. i don't have a heating gun, can a hair dryer be used?
Thank you for subscribing Wanda! There are a few different ways to stick your napkins to the paper, so if freezer paper works for you - keep on using it! If it ain't broke, don't fix it right? The shiny stuff was clear embossing powder, and unfortunately hair dryers a) don't get hot enough to melt the powder, and b) don't concentrate the heat, so it just ends up blowing the powder off and all around. Don't rush to acquire all the tools and gadgets. Pace yourself. :) I'm glad you like the cards too!
@@ToniStamps thank you so very much. I just love making the cards, and all the beautiful ideas to implement.
I agree - there are so many ways to create beautiful things. Enjoying ourselves while creating is a worthwhile thing!
Watched replay, cards are all wonderful
Thank you Debra! Always glad to hear it!
Catching the replay and love these cards and book envelope. I really liked #2 card. Thanks for your talent.
Thanks Marlene! I think #2 was my favorite card too! It turned out better than I expected. :)
You are so good at explaining what to do and yes the measurements are so important and precise!
This is so awesome. You can also use back side for notes of the pictures
Yes! Perfect idea for the backs! Thanks Cheryl.
With all those bright colors you can put your Mexican trip pictures in this photo album. I love this! I made keepsake boxes similar to this. I put an open box inside instead of the waterfall sides. Great project.
I love making those too - book boxes, right? Thanks Gloria!
You were one busy gal! I love it when I’m on a creative roll like this. We could spend hours like this! Thank you so much for the embossed idea. So cool!
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! We could definitely spend hours crafting and crafting and crafting. :)
Love all our projects Toni! You have the best ideas! Thank you 😊 (look forward to your waterfall video! I love what you made!)
Thanks Barbara! I hope you like the waterfall one too. It's an easy enough project - hardest part is always picking out the right pictures.
Runn it through an embossed- it hides wrinkles
Another great idea! Thanks for sharing! I have received a few napkin cards where they embossed that napkin layer, and you're right - it hides wrinkles, but it's also so PRETTY with that added texture! Thanks again!
Watching replay and loving all the cards. I love the zinnia set. Thanks Toni.
Thank you Ana! I'm glad you love them too!
I noticeyou put the pin in your BEARLY Arts bottle tip . do you leave it in. Im having issues with clogging
I do put the pin in and leave it, and it never dried up on me. I also use Art Glitter Glue and use a pin in that one too...note that they are two different size pins. I didn't know that at first. The Bearly Art glue pin is skinnier than the other. But yeah - I generally leave my glue bottles open and on their sides when I'm actively working on a project...so maybe an hour at a time? Put the pin in when I'm done and it's all good. Maybe your pin is somehow too small and air is getting in there. Do you have the fine-tip on the glue bottle? That makes a difference too.
You h ave a new suscriber. Thank you for the great tutorials
Thanks so much Chris! I hope you enjoy what I've got to share! I'd love to hear what your top 3 interests are for paper crafting projects.
Is it ok to iron the wrinkles from the napkin?
You answered my question on the tutorial
hahaha! I DO iron them as you found out...the wrinkles drive me nuts.
This was a eye opener for me. You are so organized. I love😊 that you give measurements. I e seen alot of videos on this, various methods. Yours is the best. I love it. I live in B.C Canada
Well now you're just making me blush Chris! I truly appreciate your kind words, and I am SO glad that you found these helpful!
Sorry I missed the live. Fantastic projects as usual! Tough decision between the tri-fold and the inlaid as to which is my favorite. Thanks for the shout out on the coloring 🤗. Makes me feel famous! The regular markers also work well with the watercolor pencils for shading.
Thanks Shawn! I really liked that tri-fold too, mostly because of that piece of DSP. You have to explain that to me more...using regular markers with the watercolor pencils. I have never heard of that before!
Thank you for the tip with the washi tape to pull it apart. I have big fingers, and it is so hard for me. Are you still doing the classes? I have trouble with Facebook. Can I still do the classes?
Hi Rita! I'm glad you found the washi tape helpful. I am still doing classes, but not on a regular schedule. This Napkin card class was from last year, and I don't have any more of the materials left to make any more kits. I JUST had online class this week - Wednesday and Thursday, featuring a new flower set. I always stream to both RUclips and Facebook, so if Facebook is giving you a hard time - poo poo on that. Just come on over here to RUclips. :)
You could use a swifter sheet for cleaning your surface if you wanted. It works great
Thank you for the suggestion! I think I do have some of these on a wand or handle of some kind. I'll give it a try!
Love the cards this week!!
Thank you Linda!!
My fav was your first card with all the in colors! Nicely done as usual Toni!
Thanks Bec! I love that card design too - glad I saw it on Karen's site!
Can you use the embossing powder and heat gun on napkin cards made with Saran Wrap?
I don't think so Lisa, because when you iron the Saran Wrap on your layer to start off with, it's melting that to create a "glue" layer. If you then tried embossing that, you'd be re-heating it and I'm afraid it would melt again, or even scorch that layer. It wouldn't hurt to practice with a napkin that isn't one of your favorites, but I wouldn't expect good results. :(
@@ToniStamps What method could i use to adhere the napkin to the paper that would allow me to use embossing powder? I really love the bright look you got with the clear embossing powder!
I've been using Adhesive Sheets. I got them from Stampin' Up, but Sizzix sells them (or used to anyway). The more I think on it though - that is also adhesive, and heating it up might melt it - but it doesn't. I've never had problems embossing the napkins with adhesive sheets. Maybe it won't melt the saran wrap again? I'm thinking definitely try it with the saran wrap, if you've already got a sheet done that way.
Thank you! very useful tips
I'm glad you got some good tidbits out of it! Thank you!
😅😅😅😅😅
Thank you! Gald you like the cards!
