Any updates on the shoes? I’d like to buy some but I can’t find anywhere to try them on so I’m basing all my info from RUclips and there’s not much on them. Thanks
Great job. Any chance you could do a gear review? Thanks
haha didnt expect to see the youyangs. great video, cheers
How about a follow up on these shoes, interested if you have kept them in your rotation
He threw them in the garbage or used them to start the campfire.
cool!
Is the midsole soft like new balance fresh foam?
Well done! Really enjoyed your recap
Can't believe how clear the sky is! Very cool!
What are your thoughts on both the trail and road from Tarkine now that its been 5 months?
Great work Keith! How do you run 100k and smile the whole time?
Amazing!! What's next?
Training my twin brother to a 50km in September. We'll both do this race and I will capture his training journey from doing minimal run training (10km per week) right up to achieving his first Ultra.
Great video
Great recap
one criticism i have is they are quite slippery on wet surfaces
Great coverage of KMR. Great run for your first ultra! Such a great place to run.
Thank you for the review
Great run
You can do it 🎉😊
Must be in the southern hemisphere!
Great upload. What is the most important thing for you when looking for a new shoe?
Great question. It's a balancing act between comfort, speed and budget. For a trail shoe it has to be comfort and durability particularly if you are doing Ultras.
Great review!
I was quite surprised that there was quite a few kms on the road. I thought it would all be off road. Well done. Looked pretty tough but nice
The 10km down hill from Sponars Chalet on the road was tough on the feet and knees. Depending on the weather it might even be worth changing to super cushioned road shoes as there is only 6km on runnable trail after the road section.
Hey awesome video, randomly come across it and realised I’m actually the guy at 4:20 and I’m just in front of you on the bridge, no. 51! Hope you had a great race!
Awesome. My right knee started playing up at 120km so it became a struggle from there but managed to finish in just over 24hrs but I did manage to cross the 100mile mark in 23hr 50mins which was my goal of under 24hrs
How was your race?
Are you returning for 2023? Fellow Pommie here heading for my first Miler there in Dec
Probably not this year as I have my eye on a number of other ultras that I want to tick off. Good luck with your race, I loved it.
He's back 🎉
awesome stuff mate
Very close to where we live and run
It's a great place to run with easy access to the Peaks and so many trails. Loved spending the time back over there for a nice break
Great video. It's not just me that is having trouble adjusting the straps. They are so small and tight. Definitely no need for the snake bandage in Manchester UK 😀
Good run mate, I was the girl who ran with you between guthega and sponars chalet!
Awesome, i enjoyed that section. How was your race?
Great video
Excellent run! What was the elevation change for this run?
510m. 1st half is all downhill second half all up hill.
You smiled a lot more than I did! Well done, epic run.
Congrats on the run, great video and a good assessment of each of the legs. I 100% agree, mountain bike switchbacks are not great to run on.
legendary run good job
Top work!
Just curious, what is your 10K time?
Hi Micheal, 36.05 mins at the moment. I don't run many 10kms on the road but might do another next year after I get a few ultras out of the way this year.
Looks like nice weather
Looks very nice
I played football with this lad once upon a time 27 yrs ago, And he doesn't look a day older, apart from a couple of grey hairs😄👍👋👋👋
Cheers Lee😂
Cool bro... Y still got that Scouse accent.. Amazing scenery that mate... Y just hooked aren't y
Where was this?
The You Yangs. Everytime I go there early (before 8am) I manage to see Kangaroos, and they're pretty tame. They were a lot closer than they look in the vid.
great race!
lets go
Great place! You should have a go at the Parkrun there, it's a tough one!
Maybe next time I'm over in the UK. I fly back to Australia on Thursday so will miss the next one.
@@pommierunner8494 ah no worries, hope you've had a good visit. See you next time 👍
Weather looks perfect for running!
It was
Another excellent video, lots of familiar routes!
Thanks
The dog! 🤣
Cookie!!! It actually bit a guy on his hamstring
Run those routes regularly, great video 👍
I'd forgotten how nice the trails are. Loved the run.
@@pommierunner8494 you should try and get up to Mellow Cross if you have the time, gorgeous views of Stockport in this weather, some nice hills for a decent bit of elevation too.
What was the biggest difference you found running back in the UK? I am about to move back from Thailand and looking forward to some English trails!
Just how wet and muddy most of the trails are. I'm from Australia so everything is really dry. I find myself slipping in anything other than trail shoes on the trails in the UK. The cooler temps are very nice though I don't need to take half as much water.
Looks nice
