I remember when he had just got that thing built and painted and the next hook out it chucked one of the big turbo’s and tore the whole side out of that beautiful hood and side shield, it was awful!!! But it made for a awesome video😬 couldn’t ask for better people 👍👍

Went there for several years back in the 80’s & 90’s....can’t stand it anymore....too many obnoxious people and running too many tractors in each class...boring to watch....needs to be an invitational event, limit the number of entrants

Billy beirs is 100 % right on his comment i heard on a podcast,look at joes winners circle interview,theres noone in the background,bleachers are empty for thier winners circle presentation of awards..run the unlimiteds 1st class,give them the best track conditions instead of a track with 100 previous hooks,and give them a crowd to talk too and a crowd to show some appreciation back.ive been going 50 yrs now,and i will admit i never stay either,i listen while walking back to our campspot..seems like 40 yrs ago the crowd stuck around to listen to the awards,but the classes all had a multi tractor pulloff that made it exciting for us as fans

we were there two years ago and will never go back because of all the alcoholics. my son who was 13 at that time was elbowing me Friday night after three tractors pulled and said can we go so him and I left thankfully we had a hotel that had a shuttle bus so our two other friends could stay and they were back at the hotel by ten I said to them was it over already and they said no the drunks got worse and they didn't feel comfortable being there will never go back the worst pull ever unless you are a drunk
