Where did you get that heat exchanger?
What was the heat exchanger that you used? How many btu’s?
Do you know what refrigerant is used?
What control are you using to control outside unit?

Unbelievable, some one just changed the compressor in 2019 and scraped the whole unite.(from the serial number, the compressor is made in 2019)
didn't notice regarding the serial number but I assumed the compressor swaped recently as it looks new for an old 18 years old outdoor unit.
Here’s how it goes. I go out find a compressor locked up, no refrigerant in the system. I can either put in a new heat pump and pretend there’s nothing wrong with the air handler or I can do a leak search and find the leak in the air handler, then sell them a whole new system inside and out. Whoever replaced the compressor without determining why it failed was a jackleg and didn’t do his job properly.
your heat exchanger is a trap for compressor oil. Swap the lines...
why is that?
the lines order to obtain the higher heat transfer efficiency; heated water outlet on same side of discharge refrigerant line on heat exchanger. Total circuit length is considered short to guarantee oil circulation. working since two years with no indication of oil circuit problem.

Nice job! Welding like a pro! I wonder you KW/hrs you pay for you electrical consumption? Because hire in Canada we payings .95 cents/ kwhr and it’s not worthy to have a heat pump for domestic water!
Much better than an immersion heater. COP is 3+ compared to 1 for immersion heating.
well I have not much idea about the aircon but a question, was "Modified R-22 5 Ton old and used outdoor unit Air to Air" a AC in original but you modify it to run as a heat Pump ? would be nice to see how to modify :-) . I think I can also find such things cheap from scrap yard. But I am still not confident to start all without previous exprience with Aircons :-D . All I know is I am willing to do and I can find all those component cheap in scrap yard.
Actually yes, it was ducted split air to air heat pump modified to air to water heat pump.
