Thanks for another amazing video! I look forward to these little masterpieces you're producing. I love that I always leave learning something new and feeling smarter and like I did something very useful with my time by watching your video. I love your voice and how you put these together. I'm loving the way you did harmonies with yourself. So cool & talented! PS-I'm new to video editing and have such respect for your skills. It must've been challenging to synch the harmonies. Wow!
Thanks Dr. Tiffany! That's gratifying to know.
Al Jolson in his time was NOT DESPISED, by doing BLACKFACE. by anybody! You are only PROTECTING CONTEMPORARY PROFIT!
Amazing to finally see your passion on screen Sam! Tbh, I don't know much about this era and this video was a perfect mini documentary to learn more and enjoy your vocals 🎶
Thanks, Teodora!
Wow Sam, I love your 'Blue Skies' performance, such a great way to wrap up this informative video! It was probably very challenging to create such harmony in vocals, but you did it, outcome is fantastic!
Thank you, Teodora!
Great video! What a start!
You're so talented Sam! Loved it.
Thanks, Scotlyn!
Sam, I can barely find the words to tell you how much I love your videos. Your historical details are fascinating, and of course your performances are outstanding. This one made me cry! I can't wait for the next, and the next, and the next, and the next... (btw this is Liz Floyd 😉)
Love your rendition! Very clever.
Thank you, Kelly!
I heard this song on the “Mob Hits” album and then I heard this song in an allergy commercial by the way you talk about “Blackface” but What about Eddie Murphy dressing up as an old white Jewish man yelling “Ah what do you know from funny ya basted?” In the 1988 movie “Coming to America” by the way you’re singing is a lot better than this girl I worked with I’m not gonna mention her name but your singing is so much better then her
One of my favourite songs. Benny Goodman does the best rendition for me.
Sam, this is so wonderful, stupendous, amazing...and will run out of adjectives! This is so polished and your rendition is fantastic! I also loved the history lesson and background for this American staple. Also, it shows, along with your talents, that you had supporting folks, whose talents were on display too. The next time I see you I would like your autograph, please!
Ha! Thank you, Dave!
Amazing Sam!! So interesting too! You are very talented!
