Glad you found them :-) This was from 2020, so there's a lot of wonky setups (with the increased spacing and what not) and some instrumentation challenges that we were dealing with. Having an in-person concert at this time was a massive success in and of itself - thanks for listening!

You are probably referring to ms. 78-82 where we had the marimbist take his part down an octave; it was an artistic decision that we (at the time) felt enhanced the moment. There were a few other 'artistic liberties' we took such as having the snare drummer play rimshots instead of normal snare hits during the big backbeat sections. Were our decisions effective? That's up to the audience to decide 😅 Perhaps the next time we pull this piece out in 4-5 years we will feel differently and give it a totally different interpretation... who knows?! Either way, we had a ton of fun and we still really appreciate you taking the time to watch and give feedback. Thanks for listening!
