It should be noted that Crow Country features a Noise / Film Grain filter active throughout the entire game that looks fantastic, but cannot be disabled and in turn, slightly interferes with the streaming bitrate. As such, the video quality may appear slightly lower than usual, but the game's graphics look even better when playing this game yourself!

Note: Due to a lot of real-life circumstances and schedule conflicts that occurred at the time of this playthrough, I decided to pause the full playthrough of this game, with this being the final stream for it. Still a very fun beat-em-up game to play though! Maybe one day I'll come back to it for the stream, but for the moment this playthrough is paused.

ok I finally get to come back and eventually binge these vods since I just beat the final boss myself yippee (and of course you beat the final boss first try while I took like 10 tries wile on Galaxy difficulty... but I was only level 80 so I'll blame it on that). Game was fun and I can't wait to do Rena's route next so that I can fix everything I messed up on my first run!! Claude, Rena, Celine, Precis was my party for basically everything, and I also picked up Leon, Noel, and Chisato. I didn't even get an 8th party member :( I'll probably grab completely different characters next time around. Bowman was one that looked interesting because I felt like he was recruitable, but I did check an earlier vod for that and yea I recruited Precis immediately, so that's why I got locked out (Precis is still amazing tho). Endings I got were Claude-Rena, Celine-Precis, Leon-Noel, and Chisato was alone just like for you. This game is funny bc my strategy early on was to max out Claude's writing since being able to sell books seemed nice, so I made him write so much that he is now permanently impaired with carpal tunnel. But hey! 2 million Fol in royalties!! That's a lot of nice equipment I can buy!!! Precis being able to use Machinery and give herself a bunch of broken equipment was also super fun. This game started slow but I definitely was invested by the end :) Extremely glad I went through this completely blind.

OnARoll ok but i came back to this vod because of the team members thing, I chose completely different people (the guy on the docks with Zangief's moveset for the first round, and the old man with Chun Li's style for the second) and they still won really easily. So idk if they make much of a difference unless the third options that we didn't pick is somehow a wrong one :/

I had Opera Bowman Claude Dias/Bowman all lv 100 so bloody armor ALL of them NOW and NEVER REMOVE IT. Celine Ashton Precis Noel Leon Welch are still CRAP even on EARTH mode and are NEVER in my party EVER.

Note: At the end, I made a mistake regarding trying to get the next party member and mixed up my locations. We'll be able to pick up that party member next time in Hilton, not Krosse as I tried. In the original versions, you had to view a PA with the three-eyed man before boarding the boat to Hilton, but that cutscene triggers automatically in this version. Also, recruiting the character Ashton locks out this party member, but just viewing the first scenes as I did won't lock you into getting Ashton yet. Look forward to it in the next part!

Some notes about the game regarding this part: The English fan-translated version of the game manual needed for the Crests Puzzle comes from the fan website policenauts.net/english/ which houses a lot of interesting information regarding Policenauts such as the Glossary and a timeline. Check it out if you have time, it's fascinating! The bomb defusing actually has a lot of neat quirks to it, outlined by slowbeef, the translation project's coordinator and programmer. You can find the full breakdown in his LPArchive playthrough found here ( lparchive.org/Policenauts/Update%2026/ ) that includes a lot of information regarding the sequence, such as: - The bag puzzle isn't timing you in real time, but every time you pick up a bag, you are losing 10 ticks on the bomb's timer, which also means you could theoretically cause it to blow without ever picking a wrong bag or even seeing the bomb. - Every time the bomb blows, you get 10 extra ticks. - If you mess up too much, you can actually have Ed do the magnet maze for you ( bd.baldurk.org/2538 ) - ...But Ed isn't just a guaranteed win for you: If you mess it up with Ed, then the game will give you an easier maze ( bd.baldurk.org/2539 ) - ...But if you mess up a later part of the bomb defusion, and have Jonathan do the magnet maze, you'll actually get an even harder magnet maze to do! You only get one chance at it though. - There's a panel in the top left of the bomb that you never have to touch: When you have the screwdriver, you can actually try to unscrew the panel, but it takes a very long amount of time since it has a ridiculous amount of screws. If you get the panel off, you get... ANOTHER panel, with even more screws! If you take off that panel... Well, you'll have to read the LPArchive post for yourself to find out! 2:07:43 - So what happened here is I forgot how not necessarily every attacking Ability in the game will actually consume your Tension! Some Abilities, like Yangus's Knuckle Sandwich (which deals 50% more damage than a regular attack), will not consume the character's Tension and allow you to keep it stashed for later, meaning if I had chosen to do a normal attack with Yangus at any point onward in the boss fight, I would have unleashed a 50 Tension regular attack for good damage. Not too many Abilities will avoid spending your Tension, but the few actions that ignore Tension can enable you to keep it stashed for a better opportunity while still putting out damage or support.
