Is it loud man?..i might buy one tomorrow. Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪
I will be honest with you. You will not feel it like you would a 10 or 12 inch woofer. It is loud enough for a smaller room though. If you want it to shake the house it won't happen with this. Plus it's only 100 watts. It does pretty freaking good though. I hope this helps. I feel like I should have gone with a 10.
How you make out I got the same one how did you make out on adjustment of gains still trying to get mine set up
I managed to find that cranking the gains to max still gave me headroom. It's working good still.
@Turbonicplague ah ok going to try a 1000hz tone and check voltage just to see what it's doing
@ironhead320 good idea i would do the same. Just incase 👍
is it better to run new wire when doing this kinda amp? will my factory wire hold that wattage ?
Yes it should be fine. I just did it because I felt like it.
How did you se the wavelength all the way at the bottom at 40hz? Even tried 50 and could not see it
You can scroll the centerline either the top or bottom to see the edge of sine. I you still can't see it the this one is not capable of showing that low.
Coming out good, but if i may add, from artist to artist (and you can definitely just ignore this if you want) Maybe make his clothes a little more losse fitting, it looks like itd be hard to move in them, especially the torso area and arms. His stance is also very stiff and leaning to far forward from what i can see, unless hes walking forward. The way hes aiming the gun(s) seem to be a little off. Usually when you aim a gun, you dont want your head to be straight upward and stiff, you kind of want things tight and close to the center of your body, so bringing the head down as if he is leaning into the pistols so it looks more natural. Also, the head seems to be a little big, mostly in the top half. Other than that i mean it looks good. The flow and bend of the clothing, the overall proprtions, the structure of it. Keep up that amazing work man
Nevermind the head is positioned just fine. The detail is incredible though
Wow, thank you very much for the kind words and critiques. He is walking forward while shooting. The other hand will have a pistol that is being fired. I do see the things you mentioned, and I agree there is much more refining to do. Thanks again for the comment not many people do. I appreciate you.
@@Turbonicplague i love art, and as someone who actually hates creating art but can be pretty good from time to time, I love seeing art and people expressing themesleves. I don't doubt you're probably better than I am, but that doesn't necessarily I can't have an imaginative mind. I hope you pop on my feed again. I wanna see the progress and how much you've progressed. Good luck man!
Thanks homie!
@kharnsagara It's all about expression. The cool part is that 100 people could make the same thing and none would look the same. The connection of the mind to hand and a vision are what differentiate each peice of art from one another. Your eyes are very observant and I trust the things you said are accurate. I'm glad my art clicks with you. Merry Christmas
Sorry the music cut short.
Give it a big gyatt❤❤
Lol...i can do that. It's definately a little flat right now😅

A😃
Very misleading
Nope just a clay head thanks man
That’s some nice art but creepy too
Thanks-a-bunch
No problem
Hear me out 😈😈
POV: you’re on a romantic date with a floating ceramic head and it’s going great.
😌
How does it sound
Sounds very clean..I'm happy for the price for sure.
Just set my gains yesterday with this! Worked perfect for 40hz and 1000hz. I had used a DD1 previously and they told the same story for my head unit max volume. So I trust its accuracy.
Heck ya! Glad it worked for you too 👍
Where did you get that scope at looking for one
Off of amazon... there will be a bunch of options (Fnirsi DSO-152 mini)
No reply
nice
I have the Eris 4.5 BT and the Sub8BT. How do I connect those together.
I would think you could use stereo trs connection just like in the video. Maybe just connecting from sub to speakers with trs then connect your source to the sub via bluetooth.
Are you still happy with this amp? I'm thinking of picking up their 4x50w mini and 2x100 mini to run full active front components with rear fill (thinking about morel maximo 6.5 comp front and 5.5 coax rears). Looking at the d4s ezy 6x8 dsp too....ever tried it?
I am super happy with this amp. Still working great. I have not used it, sounds like you will have a great setup though👍
4x50 mini? Dont waste $ on those tiny amps. Hands down 10.4...
Nice clean work ! 😎
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching
Have you installed a sub amp yet ???
I have not... Lack of funds
Helpful thanks so much
I'm glad I could help...enjoy!
no RCA TRS cables??
Is that what I said?
This or Kef8b, 200euros each
Looks like kef has more output. Honestly personal preference. I like my sub 8 it works well in a smaller room. I'm sure the kef would too though.
am i doing something wrong, i copied your oscope settings and my wave is super smart can’t even make out the waves
I'm pretty sure this oscope will not go that low. The wave is to big to fit on the screen. You may just have to go with like 100hz back the gain off a little and call it good.
@@Turbonicplague but didn’t you use a 1000hz tone in the video?
@_N4VE_ I did like 5 different frequencies to just check a wide range.
@@Turbonicplague yes but in this video you were using a 1000hz frequency yes? just wanna be sure cuz that’s the least i wanna do
@_N4VE_ Yes I believe I was using 1000hz
wait so you CANT tune gain 40hz and lower?! the whole reason I got it was to tune my gains with a 40hz tone and mid/highs with 1khz tone. If i can still do that with this tool then could you please make a short video tutorial on finding clipping point for Head Unit/Gain settings?
You should be able to I see nowhere that it says it can't not sure where he's getting his info..
@@medidkorn idk tho i’ve been trying to get the thing to work but can’t seem to get a sine wave to show properly to where I can tune it. Can’t find a video on anyone using this for gain either. But not found one of the poster’s other clips after he installed an amp, I copy his settings and my wave looks nothing like his
I honestly just played with the thing to shrink the sine wave. I could only see around 100hz being the lowest. You may have to move your center pointer all the way to the bottom or top to be able to see the top of the sine wave. I don't have the oscope with me anymore it's in storage. Sorry if this doesn't help.
Keep changing the voltage setting on the o scope till you get a wave that you can read clearly . You should be ok doing it at 100 hz. Mess with the timing of the wave to stretch it. Move the pointer in the middle all the way to the bottom. You may have to go up to 125hz. I know this sucks but it's a cheap scope. I don't know what more I can do to help.
@@Turbonicplague might just return it and try another one, sadly they don’t offer free returns and i have to pay a $7 return fee
mine will not charge, any suggestions?
Sorry to hear that, I honestly would send back and order a new one
@@Turbonicplague Thank you for the reply. I will send it back and get another one as it worked very well to test data line communication on obd 2 vehicles
Bro how much room do you knows under seats 💺 Measurements of course ) if you got time 😁
Ya man...so there is a recession under the seat. If you are looking from the back seat, you have 11" deap x 16" wide (width is between the seat glide rails). With the seat jacked down you have 4" tall, and with the seat jacked all the way up you have 6 inches. You still have to make connections and stuff so you will need a smaller amp to make it fit easily. Hope this help
@@Turbonicplague 12.20 L , 4.87 W , 2.13 H , do you think this will fit under seat 💺 ??? it’s the new d4s 5 channel amp measurement’s , let me know what you think about it fitting under seats 💺, THANK YOU SIR
@danrimjob5546 so I just checked. It honestly will fit even with the seat all the way down. Account for mounting it to something like a plastic board with iso pads, unless you are going to just throw in under there. 12 .2 wide is pushing it because your wire still have to be connected. I think you will be good man👍👍
@@danrimjob55468.66 L x 4.87 W x 2.13 T inches are the dimensions of the mm1004 that I have.
@@Turbonicplague I appreciate you checking that for me SIR ✊🏻
Up and Down button aptly called Zoom in Zoom out, you want to see clipping signals. And the screen displays the cycles differently on the type of frequency.
Debating on this or jp84 cand decide wounder what one has better sound quality
Honestly, my guess would be that they sound very similar. Sounds good though.
Badass video brother
Thanks man much appreciated
Those ducts under the driver & passenger seats are a paining the ass
Wasn't to bad just had to use a heat gun to remold them. I didn't want heat to be blowing right on the amp.
Are you able to fit underneath the driver or passenger seat ???
Yes it looks exactly the same under the passenger seat. There is room there if that is what is preferred.
@@Turbonicplague I have to put amps under the seats 💺 the trunk is just too small
I also have the black mm100/4
Nice!! ya I was thinking about going with blue but they were sold out. I'll prolly get the blue jp3 when I do the sub. This amp kicks ass though very good buy for the money.👍
@@Turbonicplague do you think the jp3 will fit under the other seat 💺 ??? I hope you do video on jp3 install
@danrimjob5546 You can get away with it, it's 3 inches wider. You may see the amp a little from the back seat.
I’ve got same setup , 2018 Hyundai accent
Heck ya! It sounds a million times better than stock lol
Good job dude. You know what you're doing! 👏👏👏
Thank you very much, I appreciate it
Thanks for watching
Yea, CCA has 20-30amps less of the current rating of the same gauge copper wire between 1-4AWG but boy is it becoming harder to find amplifier wiring that's not some form of CCA.
I was able to find ofc but I wanted to save some money. This kit worked out pretty good for the time being. Amp is working like a charm. I will replace wire with ofc when add my mono amp.
Where’d you get the oscope and polarity tester from?
Amazon $28 for oscope and $32 for the polarity tester.
@@Turbonicplaguethanks brotha!
Yesir
Any links for them on Amazon ? By chance , thanks 😁
Good job, clean install 👍! Where did you get your oscilloscope from? Thanks
Thanks man i appreciate it. Got that one off of amazon, Fnirsi DSO152
What if my speakers have sub out ? Sub out vs the way you showed here ?
What speakers do you have?
@@Turbonicplague Edifier 1850DB
It looks to me like you have a 3.5 mm jack for sub out. You will need a 3.5mm to rca adapter. Are you using an audio interface?
Sorry I'm trying to get an understanding of what you are using this for and I can tell you more
@@Turbonicplague I'm using a DX3Pro as a DAC. Currently my computer is connected by USB (USB 2.0 port) to my dac. My dac is connected through RCA to my active speaker and my sub is connected to that same speaker through a 3.5mm to RCA adapter. I was wondering if there is a difference between that type of connecting the hardware and the way you showed here in thise video (connecting the DAC to the sub, then the sub to the active speaker).
Hahaha 😂 Bluebell commercial! I was laughing when you started cranking it up. Clean install. I have the same amp being delivered today!
Lmao🤣🤣I was laughing too when I watched again. Thank you...it is worth the money. Enjoy your new amp man!!
New sub here. Great job my guy 👊
Thanks man, I appreciate that.
You lost me at CCA......🥱
It's all good 👋
I wouldn't be driving a high level input into this amp without confirming it will take it, it doesnt hwve the provisions from factory so probably doesn't accept them
I will check with them
@Dezmark I cut the rubber splitter part off of my plug. It is literally just soldered together inside the splitter. Nothing special I'm sure it will be fine I'm sure. Wires come from 4 prong plug, to splitter just solder together and split to rca connectors.
I took another look so working input voltage of this amp is no higher than 6 v dc. I guess high level output is around 11 to 12v so I guess I will need an loc after all. Thank for pointing this out. I don't want to mess the amp imputs up👍
thanks for this very little videos on this amp
No problem, thanks for watching🙏✌️
I have the jp3 in red in my 2024 rev hybrid
Nice!! How do you like it? What kind of sub are you powering?
@@TurbonicplagueI have an nvx vsw122-2 wired at 1 ohm in a custom skar sealed .8 cf. I am using 4 gauge ofc and an 80 amp breaker.Sounds real good,I like sealed enclosures, these guys dropping huge ported boxes in their rides, lose not only cargo space, but transient response. Nicee! I can't wait. I am going to get the 10.

Will do.. may be just a little bit gotta get all the wiring. Thanks for watching man🫰✌️
@@Turbonicplagueuse ofc wire, these kits that have cca wire are a waste of money, use copper, and high quality ofc for the subwoofer too.

Hell ya! I love how compact this thing is! Good luck on the install homie.
Enjoyed it. Very informational. They really looked out with the lollies 🍭 😎. Still need to have lunch before you leave man!
A pity that this man wastes so much time before getting down to the job.
Yet it's my best video so far but whatever.
I appreciate your bro, and your music. You have a strong regard for your impact in this life and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Stay true we're here with you. It's an honor
