These "virtual sectionals" have been prepared as an aid to home practice. They were crafted with love for the Band Spectacular hosted by Leeton Town Band (NSW Australia) which, in 2022 returned after a hiatus due to pandemic restrictions. There is one video for each section and each movement. The music has been mixed so the section sound is “forward” with the rest of the band behind. This emula...

Well done players from GK's and Leeton! Fantastic performance! Thanks Stephen for putting it on the program!
Thanks Tim for another great piece. I loved how authentic this was to the idiom. We really enjoy this work!
favouring the licorice-sticks at the start of the second movement I see ;) on a more serious note - one of my Maths teachers in the mid '70s (taught us how to navigate by dead reckoning) was in the Dam Busters campaign (as a navigator). He was mad as a cut-snake and would fly off the handle as quick as look at him. Looking back it's obvious that it was PTSD :( - but back then, no one gave that any thought. And (now the end has just happened) that was fantastic! well done SMOD and team
Thank you Harry, and what an interesting reflection on your Maths teacher. 🌹
Beautiful piece, and we miss Jeanne so much.
That's got to be the smallest color guard I've ever seen. I like the dancing kangaroo.
why is the first euph part lower than b bone
They are generally in unison. The top Eupho part is for people who read treble clef baritone/euphonium, which is a (Bb) transposing instrument (like trumpets). That's why it reads a note higher than it sounds. A better way of saying that is that it sounds a ninth lower than written :) Hope that helps.
Brilliant, thank you!
I’m currently playing 1st trombone for this in grade 11 symphonic band.
that was great! :) - and as for the drum solo - "a creative artistic interpretation" :D
Wow - That was fantastic - Great job Steve !!!!
Paul Williamson thanks for your part!
Fantastic ... the percussion improvisation is especially awesome! ...and excellent video editing too! Well-done all!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff!
When did I end up on RUclips? Thanks S'Od.
Fantastic!
Nice work on trumpets Glen, loved the final notes
@@StephenODoherty thanks for putting it all together. That's a lot of work!
