I understand how open mics work, but still find it so disrespectful that so many people would talk all the way through the set. Even got a feeling you rushed a bit by the end as the crowd wasn’t present. Great cover, though!
@@camuscolorado thanks! It's been a while since I've been to that open mic. It's still a favorite because the sound and video quality are great and the crowd is usually awesome, too! I'm more of a street performer, so I'm used to competing with noise and I know I can't always win the crowd over, especially when I feel like I'm not warm enough to give my best. Always a lot of fun tho!

@@zuzek9925 I would love to but...I don't keep any of my instruments in standard tuning these days so it would be capo 1 and... I've rearranged it lol. Currently playing it pretty differently but have only an audio recording of it. Maybe soon I'll get around to posting it

Reminds me of being 17, my best friend and I bought the album when it came out.
I can only imagine being there when Disintegration was fresh. I had my first listen in my mid-20s, like 12 years ago or so, and it became one of my favorite albums lol just such a special sound and vibe, even for The Cure. The friend who lent me a copy said that my music sounded like I had always listened to The Cure lol I'm not sure I've gotten far away from that in the bits of writing I've done in the decade since
