HOW TO TURN THE FUEL UP ON YOUR IH 66'/86'/88' SERIES TRACTOR | REVEALING OUR SECRETS!!
Просмотров 94 тыс.Месяц назад
Jesse from Restoration Tractor Sales walks you through how to turn up the fuel on an IH 1066 tractor. This applies to any of the 66'/86'/88' series International tractors, or any tractor with an Ambac 100 injection pump.
First Gen Cummings you could turn them up as well. I've a few ppl turn them up after telling them don't turn that screw more that 2 turns But but I've heard you can turn it up to 4 alright I would say but have a board ready What do I need a board for so you can shut it off before it blows up You're crazy and don't know what you're talking about alright I would say I watched 2 run away on fools that wouldn't listen that is a chance you take by doing shit like this listen or don't but at the very least have a way to cut the air off just in case
The John Deere 4320 lacks 14 more horsepower
It’s comical seeing American farmers lose their minds over extra fuel. When I started we had a Naturally aspirated tractor swapped manifolds and made it turbo, added fuel and got 195% of what it had originally I ran that tractor myself for 18k hours before it was sold never slipped or skipped a beat still miss it. Extra fuel issues is more to do with the driver than the tractor being unreliable
The true test against the 1066 is the 4430, they were both sold in the same vintage. The 4440 has the 466, the 4430 has the 404. The 1066 held its own. I am from Canada, and was a parts person in a JD dealership at the time the 1066 was sold against the 4430. At a much later time we were at a tractor pull. The young man was using a 4430, and cleaned up the circuit. A young lady came in with a 1066 first time pulling that fall. She handed him his ass.
Thanks ,I believe the power is close, wight, no weight is the the pinch
How many TA's and clutches would you have to replace in the 1066 or 1086 in 3000 hours?
I'll take the one with the cab thank you!
The 1086 might out pull a Deere, but the Deere will outlive a international 3 times over. See a lot of those Deeres with 12, 14, 16,000+ hours on original motor, internationals rarely have that long of life span.
Is it just my eyes, or does every 66 series IH wound up in HI 1st in the field look like it's in 2nd gear from a distance?
IH 1066 will shit all over either one of those Juan Deere’s
Now find an 11mm Ambac head, and bump the timing up a bit!
Nice inventory as usual Jess.. keep up the good video s I bought an 856 Wheatland from Jesse turbo charger and 30 x 32 tire's on the rear.. Jeff clarion co
Cousin and I used to plow together, he with his 1086 and I with my 4430. We had identical 720 5-18's. In 3 half mile rounds he would gain a half round on me. I burned 8½ gallons per hour to his 6 gallons.
Ihc has a very good engine but from their back is very weak and can have problems
turn up the fuel, wash the oil off of the cylinder walls. great. when you get more blow-by than exhaust, you know you won.
PUT A SET OF LOADED 20.8X38 RADIAL ALL TRACTIONS ON THAT 4440. ITS TA WOMT GO BAD, AND ITS PTO WONT SLIP ON THE FIRST SHOVEL FULL OF CORN PILLING SILO. RIGGED VIDIO. ...
Omg that is awesome!😎
Wow. Just wow. RED POWER!!!
Thatvwas gay
I wanted to buy your 72 4020 but found a 4320.
Makes it a different tractor!!! Put a pyrometer on it
Wheel weights have a purpose
All three great tractors in their day Even better now compared to some of the new ones
Great job Jessie
Red power !
Everyone knows it takes 2 Deere's to equal one IH :)
An equally weighted and rated International will spank a Deere every time. No brag just fact, read the Nebraska test on the 1086 vs. 4440.
Sounds like th 1066 was turned up on the rpm and definitly was running faster ground speed.
1066 is the tractor
Ok so if you said that all three of them are foe sale how much for the 1066 and the 4440
IH all day
4440 little heavier than 1066 i thought
I’m a red fan. Need to look up the stats on the 4440
We used to have a JD4440 in the 1980s with hydraulic front wheel drive. We called it 3 wheel drive as it was better than 2WD but not the really positive grip of a mechanical 4WD. It often blew the hoses to the front wheel motors. Not a bad tractor though. The engine was golden.
You should have pulled the ta back
He did at 2:30
That 10 pound for pound out pulled them all!
Ih 1066 will walk all over the the 4440
I worked for a couple of farmers back in the early 80s and have ran all three and my opinion is the 1066 was the best.
Lol
I've got a new favorite RUclips channel.
Ih 1066
The engine on the 1066 held in there better. The 4440 had a little less slippage which it definitely should with loaded 20.8s and a cab.
I suppose you dont know if i could buy something and get it sent to ireland or is that cracy
4440 hands down
It ought to . Weight the 10 and see what happens
@@joshpitts7256 lol and put wings on a pig and it can fly
A 4440 is 3 times what any 1066 ever was.
@@gregurig5775cab wise yea
We should do a collaboration at some point. We have a drone, which would have given a different angle for the hill. We're in Franklin County. We mainly record auctions but have started a Farm Series where we go out and interview Farmers. We're on Facebook and Tiktok (same name).
1066 hands down ..
I wasn't able to view video earlier as I got notification at a remote field, finally got to see it. Around here you would need duals to pull a 15' drill efficiently, especially after beans . Found out that the hard way two falls ago when radiator started leaking on my brother's one 1066 that he has 900/60R32 Firestone combine tires on. Hooked a different 1066 on and I could go up a slight grade it would only spin out.
Hydro 100 Best loader tractor
new youtuber , give us more technical details infos about the 66 series !
There is no 88 series. There was the 30 and 50 series.
Nice,clarion county isn’t very far away .👍
Turning engines higher than designed is going to fail and cost lots of money
You could probably also straight pipe it to have the least exhaust restriction
