How long does that battery last?
I use this same battery for my kayak missions. It runs my Lowrance Hook reveal 7 TS and my LED nite light. I’ve had both running for 8-10 hours and it’s never gone dead. I recon I’d get two trips at that easily. But I charge after every trip. 17.5amp. It’s only running my Garmin at the moment. Plenty of juice.
Oi Krakka ! Great set up mate . Where did you buy the big green anchor rope winder ?
Hey John. Just at BCF mate. 👍
Oi Krakka’s , where do you store your anchor while your paddling ?
Just behind the seat. Easy to get to when Anchoring 🤙🤙
Awesome setup Krakka ! I have just purchased a Hobie Compass and really looking forward to outfitting with some of your ideas 😊

hey from nz , wanted to ask your opinion i have a bixpy & looking at getting a compass , can i ask since you have both does the bixpy & pedalling together increase the speed of either one separately by itself ? or does it sort of top out together & isn’t much more ? thank you
Peddling with the Bixpy definitely gives you more speed. And better tuning. Get the stern mount instead of the through hull. It assists with peddling. Makes it a lot more quick and responsive
@@krakkayakkazfishing thank you 🤘
weigh your gas cylinders regularly.... the correct weight is marked on it. if its light its fu+ked. simples.
Great effort mate . Always Awesome to catch one over 40 . Well done . I’ll join you next year
Thanks Jocko. Hope you’re having an amazing trip. Catch up soon
Looking good bro 😮 I am waiting for my share 😊
Awesome video fellas ! You guys fishing from Hobie PA 14 ?
Cheers. Nah it’s a Hobie Compass. 👍
Good for bronze whalers there too
Good work mate . Always having a go , well done
Cracks me up every time you do that tail slap at the camera 😂 Nice session and great camera work 👌👍
Pssh Pssh lol
@@krakkayakkazfishing 😂😂😂😂
You took a yak out the heads?? Which heads!! That is heroic
Western Heads.
What ski are you running? Looking at getting one
It’s a Seadoo Fish Pro. Really happy with it. Great fishing platform.
Nice work mate. How many cracks on average do you get from a placky before you lose it?
Two to Three fish at the moment. I’ve tried as seen on the vid just pinning the plastic. And also threading the hook jig head style. You still lose the plastic eventually but it’s still way cheaper than losing a pippi every fish. Have ya had a go on them ?
You inspired me , i went & purchased a packet of Gulp 2" worms yesterday. 🪱
Great video…those sand worms really work ! Where do you kayak launch around Somers ?
What kinda rods and string do u use? I got a new Kmart rod and wondering if I should change the line 😂 2 🐟 at once 🎉
I run Shimano Jewels 1-4kg with the Shimano Nasci 2500. Black Magic Hyperglide 16lb. Black Magic whiting Snatchers mini Pillie in Colour.
Do u use worms for bait sometimes? Nice catch.. fish are getting bloody expensive in the shops!
Yeah I use sand worm a lot. These worked surprisingly well. I’ll be definitely be using them all the time now.
Pippies are real expensive, I went out Sunday arvo and only a nice pinky, not one whiting. What day is this?
Also FIRST! 😂
Sunday
What location is this ?

Paul I’ve got some white ones left. PM me if you’d like to pick up 🤙
Brendon Hogg. Awesome session Great gummy , but loved the ting you caught . Good size ones there mate . Looking for the weather to come good Cheers Jock
Cheers Jock. Great fun those big King George 🤙
Great session mate. Just starting to set my Compass up so its been great looking at how you’ve got yours setup. Really enjoying the channel 👍😁
Cheers Clint. I’ve got a vid there on my set up for filming off the compass if you haven’t seen it already. The for watching. 🤙
@@krakkayakkazfishing thanks mate, yeah I’ve watched it a few times 😝Hey have ya found the rod holder extensions to work well? Do they help with space around the deck? Also how do you go loading with the bixby bracket on and protecting the rudder? ( assuming the plastic loader doesn’t fit now )
Clint the Extension on the rod holders work a dream. Lifts all your rods up out the way. It gives you more leg room to move. I load my yak on from the side of the Ute. I put the front in a flexi tub bucket and lift the back on first. It’s so easy. The Bixpey bracket actually helps to grab the back of the yak to get it up there.
@@krakkayakkazfishing thanks heaps mate. Hey are you using a side loader or roof rack extension bar for loading? Or just the 2 racks on ya ute. Im currently using pvc bunks mounted to unistrut on a 6x4 trailer. It works well but would be nice to put straight on my dual cab roof. Have to get roof racks first and possibly a ladder rack 😆
Thanks for the video, just learning! Subbed!
Welcome aboard Rod 🤙
Great vid mind sharing your location
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year brother
Hope ya had a great Christmas Morto. Have a awesome New Years 🤙
Merry Christmas Brendan & family, thanks for the great content all year . Look forward to more in '24 . Gee that even rhymes 😂

What beach is that exactly bro with the rocks
It’s In Western Port in Melbourne
Nice set up. do u worry about sharks in the bays there?
Thanks. Not really worried about sharks. If a Massive White turns up I’d be walking on water then. But don’t really think about it. Lol
@@krakkayakkazfishing lol yeh should be ok..I’m thinking to get a yak too and catch some fish the Compass looks pretty gd
The Compass is a great fishing kayak. Super stable and fast. I absolutely love mine.
Love the trophies in the background bro.
Hopefully theres another one coming bro. Ya been getting out?
For us Senior Citizens that 3/4" extra height makes it easier on your knees when you stand up. Outriggers and a stand up bar also help you keep from getting an unexpected saltwater bath.
Great video mate what lake are you fishing.
Thanks. T Devils Bend Resivior.
Beautiful family and nice fishing God bless you
Thanks Mort
Another great video mate. May you please show us how you tie the gummy rig. Cheers Don.
Thanks Don. I run a double Paternoster rig first loop sits 150mm above the sinker. Next loop 400mm above that. Each loop gets a glow bead then a lumo sleeve. Bottom hook a 8/0 KLT hook. Top loop a 7/0 KLT hook. The overall length of the rig is about 1.5m as gummys will roll up your line. This is so they don’t hit the braid. I’ll show you in the next gummy Vid. Thanks for watching. 🤙
@@krakkayakkazfishing thank you
I wanna get kayak but my mum thinks I’ll get eaten by sharks now I can’t get one 🤷♂️
🤣🤣🤣
No bass in that water .. The e.p are beautiful eating out of there to mate . Score and plenty of salt and pep roll in flour and shallow fried whole on the bone . Beautiful
Thanks Shaun. Will keep one for a feed next trip. Cheers
My last time out in Western Western Port only got two, but they were decent size. Then I put down two squid lights after the sun set and attracted a seal instead. Cute little fella and very inquisitive. Was hopping up on the back of my boat to check out the motor.
Nice. Seals are always a worry when your on the kayak. If they decide to come on board things will get interesting 😁😉
Killa sesh bro.
Thanks Bro. Hopefully a few more squid sessions to come. Great fun. You Gona come
@Krakka Yakkaz Fishing I've put the cue in the rack for a while. Lol. Forecast for this weekend iz primo. Gunna have a krack at a big winter snaps. Same deal.same turf. Same plan
Looks like an awesome kayak spot…where do you launch?
How did you find the tide with the yak down there mate?
Not a problem Mark. Pretty use to fishing in the tide fishing WP 98% of my fishing.
@@krakkayakkazfishing any advice? I’m keen to give it a crack but that water movement is a little intimidating 😆
Great video mate 👍
Thanks Cam. Amazing water conditions
Great catch🤙
Thanks Leah. 🤙
