Custom Hangboard Rack For Mounting on Camper Ladder

I made this very simple, and very cheap, mounting rack for my rock climbing hangboard. It folds down to flatpack in the backseat of our truck. We hang it on the back ladder of our truck camper. Works amazing! Practically free to build, other than buying the hangboard.

Great video. Are there any routes there that can be free climbed or is it trad only?
Most are free climbed, though I imagine some folks aid climb up some of these. If you’re asking about sport vs trad, yeah there are a few sport climbs I believe but the difficulty would go up, probably need to be able to climb at 5.11 to make it to the summit using sport routes only.

We used a chalk substitute that does not discolor the rock! As you can see in the video, we’re not leaving any chalk marks :)

No, I think these are from circa 1995-2000. Not the earliest generation of cams BD made. There is one odd one in our set, I think it’s an old Metolius one.

Did this route in 1995 after a previous warm up on “Rangers are People, Too”. I grunted and cussed just as much! That wooden post in the rock cairn at the summit used to have a sign attached to it that read “No climbing past this point”. Fond memories of my younger days...
If you took on lead you did not lead it! Lower back down and leave you top piece or two and try it again! Real Trad!!!
Or just climb it how you want and enjoy yourself.
