Is it impossible to sterilize sealed pouches containing steel utensils with a gravity autoclave or is it just less efficient?
It is not possible to sterilize sealed pouches using our autoclaves. Pouches need to be open in order to allow steam to enter and we recommend spraying a little bit of water inside any bag or pouch, which remain open during the sterilization process.

@@maxmarett8544 Yes, after the sterilization process, the pouches can be sealed. The purpose of opening the pouches during sterilization is to allow steam to enter and ensure effective sterilization. Once the sterilization is complete, the pouches can be sealed to maintain the sterility of the contents.

Great video, really helped a lot!! but I have a question on the vacuum autoclaves, what are their advantages over the gravity ones, besides their ability to sterilize porous materials?
