Nice tutorial! No need to remove the silver casing, after unscrewing the bottom, the rest will pop off with a pry tool!!

Thank you! I think I'll cut out some space for a battery basket and secure it with acrylic glue. This way I will avoid soldering batteries which could be tricky.

Программами тестировала, плохих секторов не гаходит. Опасаюсь, что дело в плате (может быть даже в материнке) или в шине питающей жесткий диск! Эх...

Dang that a big motor.Should of replace it with Li-on batteries and around 1000 mAh higher with the same voltage the battery and the device will works fine.Than your shaver can lasted it to more uses and another year longer without needed to replacing batteries again.

can I just confirm with you, you say the battery is 1.2V but when I go online the twin batteries are quoted as 2.4V which makes sense if the batteries are run in series. So, the combined power is 2.4V not 1.2V would you be so kind to confirm. Any many thanks for posting the video
