With all due respect, the name of the language you are teaching is called Castellano, (Aka Spanish). There's no difference between the "Spanish" Mexican people speak to the "Spanish" spoken in any other country of Latin America. Yes, there are idioms, colloquial expressions, etc., but the base is identical. Just like American English, Canadian English, British English, Australian English etc are the same. I'm from Costa Rica and I have no problem understanding Spaniards, Colombians, Argentinians, Mexicans, Peruvians, etc etc etc. The same principal applies to the English language. I live in the U.S., (legally... always), but I have traveled all over the world, (20 countries and counting), and the only 2 places I had trouble understanding English were India and the Southern States of the U.S. Now I do understand that it takes some adjustments and time to understand the accents and regional expressions but the language structure is the same.
Hi @lunainezdelamancha3368, Thank you for sharing your perspective! You bring up an important point - the foundations of the Spanish language are indeed the same across all Spanish-speaking countries, and mutual understanding is absolutely achievable with some adjustments to accents and regional expressions. That said, there are certain distinctions in pronunciation, particularly between European Spanish (often associated with Castilian Spanish) and Latin American Spanish. For example, European Spanish frequently uses a pronunciation feature called ceceo (the "lisping" sound in words like gracias or cielo), which differs from the pronunciation in most Latin American countries, including Mexico. These nuances, along with differences in vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, make each variety of Spanish unique while still being part of the same language. We also want to clarify that the reason we specify “Mexican Spanish” in our titles or thumbnails is not to divide or separate the language, but rather to meet the needs of our audience. Many of our viewers ask specifically about the variety of Spanish we teach, as they want to know what to expect before they begin learning with our videos. Since our instructors have recently focused on the Mexican dialect, we highlight that so viewers are aware of the specific accent and expressions being used. Ultimately, our goal is to provide clear, useful, and practical resources for language learners. We deeply appreciate feedback like yours, as it helps us better understand the broader perspectives of Spanish speakers around the world. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts - it truly adds value to this conversation. 😊

2:25:34 this is NOT accurate! We just dont express like this!
Hi @BiGreatGarraD, Thank you for your comment! We’d love to understand your perspective better. Could you clarify which part of the phrase you feel is not accurate? Is it the translation, the phrasing, or perhaps the context in which it’s used? We’re always eager to improve and make our lessons as helpful and natural as possible. Your insights are greatly appreciated! 😊 Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Best
Thank you! I’m glad you found it helpful 👍😊
The thing with mexican spanish is every mexican state has it’s own accent & dialect. Also mexican spanish has lots of indigenous influence meaning we use indigenous words that are native to that region in our spanish.
Thank you, @joeshmoe8952, for highlighting this important aspect - you are absolutely right! Indeed, every Mexican state has its own unique accents and dialects, and the indigenous influences make Mexican Spanish especially diverse and rich. 🌎😊 In our lessons, we focus on a more universal Spanish that will be understood by a wide range of learners. While we don't always concentrate on the distinctive variations from specific regions, we appreciate your insight and hope our viewers will also embrace our universal approach to language learning. 😊
@@LingoDreamsYou're absolutely right. We Costa Ricans use words that other Latin American countries don't use e.g., zacate = grass/lawn, suampo = patois word taken from the English word swamp. Patois is spoken in the Caribbean Coast of C.R., lapicero= bolìgrafo,( pen in English). And the list goes on and on and on. P s I love languages. I speak, read, and write 3, and I am learning my 4th one... Romanian. I believe languages help eradicate prejudice and racism. Thanks for your contribution. 🖖🌻❤
@lunainezdelamancha3368 Thank you for sharing your fascinating perspective and linguistic insights! 🌟 It's incredible how every country - and even specific regions - have their own unique vocabulary and expressions, shaped by history, culture, and local influences. Costa Rican examples like zacate and lapicero beautifully highlight this diversity. Your passion for languages is truly inspiring! Learning a fourth language, like Romanian, is such an exciting journey. We couldn’t agree more with your sentiment about how languages help build bridges and foster understanding between people from different backgrounds. That’s exactly why we love sharing Spanish with the world! Thank you for being a part of this learning community, and we wish you all the best in your language adventures! 😊 🖖🌻 ¡Gracias y mucho éxito! 🇲🇽 ❤

I struggle with pronouns and prepositions. This is a good review but very elementary. Like the music.
Thank you for your feedback, @philbrenman2507! We’re glad you enjoyed the music and found the review helpful, even if it was a bit elementary. We'll definitely consider creating more advanced content on pronouns and prepositions to support your learning journey. 😊 In the meantime, you might want to try our Mexican Spanish Conversations series, where the vocabulary is a bit more advanced: [Mexican Spanish Conversations] (ruclips.net/p/PLwGRQA8nDJ805Yo_gtzbrsyp5ts76tR_R).
Gracias hermano. buen trabajo. Where is part 2?
Thank you so much, @GrowingSimba1! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the video. We appreciate your support and kind words. At the moment, we've paused the production of this series after the pilot episode due to relatively low viewer interest. However, if there's an increase in demand for this type of lesson, we will definitely consider resuming production of new episodes. Wishing you lots of success in your Spanish learning journey! 😊🇲🇽
Found this very helpful, i paused when I got to the screen that had the twenty patterns and learn them first, for me it was easier to learn and retain those. Then go back and learn each section at a time for the other words that follow each pattern! Once i was able to retain a whole pattern section i watched the next until i could retain all the information,Maybe this strategy will help some one else
Thank you for sharing your strategy, @Irishman1980! We're glad to hear the video was helpful. Your method sounds like a great way to learn and retain the patterns more effectively. Hopefully, it will be beneficial for others as well. 👍🇲🇽😊
It's a good lesson once it gets started.
Hi @dongeonmaster8547, I’m really glad you enjoyed the lesson once it got started - that means a lot! 🙌 I totally understand your earlier point about the intro. My goal is to make these videos as helpful and accessible as possible, and the introduction is there to provide some context and motivation for viewers, especially those who might be new to the channel or the method. That said, I completely respect that some viewers prefer to dive straight into the material, which is why the chapters make it easy to skip the intro and jump directly to the lesson. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback - it’s these conversations that help me improve the content for everyone. 😊 I hope you continue to find value in the lessons, and I truly appreciate you giving it a chance! Best of luck with your Spanish journey. 🇲🇽
OMG stop the preamble self promotion. You sound like an infomercial. The longer you blab about what you're going to do the less I believe you. Man I hope I'm wrong. Stop selling the product! I'm here! It's time to deliver the product.
Hi @dongeonmaster8547, Thank you for sharing your perspective so openly-I truly value feedback like yours. I understand how, for some, a 1.5-minute intro in a 4-hour video might feel like it’s taking too long to get to the content. However, my aim with the introduction is not self-promotion, but rather to provide clarity on what the lesson covers and how it can help viewers achieve their language learning goals. I don’t sell any products; my focus is on sharing knowledge and experiences that have genuinely worked for me. In this case, I include a brief personal story to explain why this method has been so effective in my own struggles with Spanish. I believe many learners appreciate hearing that context-it often inspires and motivates them to stick with it. That said, I completely understand that some viewers prefer to dive straight into the lesson. For that reason, I always include chapters in my videos, allowing anyone to skip the intro and go directly to the part they’re most interested in. I hope this explanation helps, and I sincerely hope you find the content valuable. Thank you again for your feedback, and I appreciate your patience! 😊
Thank you for this😩
So happy to hear that! Thank you! 🙏❤️
I like this video, but could be a little faster to bring it up to real life speed
Thank you for your feedback, @pamelakimball6978! We’re glad you liked the video. It’s always a challenge to find the perfect balance because many viewers appreciate the current slow and precise pace of the phrases. However, we understand your point about real-life conversation speed. 😊 To accommodate different preferences, we’re considering providing a mix of slow-paced foundational lessons and faster-paced real-life conversation practice sessions. We hope this combined approach can help meet the needs of viewers at various levels of Spanish proficiency. Thank you for your valuable input! 😊
Hi again, @pamelakimball6978! Thank you for sharing your thoughts earlier - they really got me thinking. 😊 In light of our previous conversation, I wanted to let you know about an alternative that might suit your preference for faster, real-life conversation speeds. You might find our Mexican Spanish Conversations for Beginners series helpful. Here's an example video: 🎥 Mexican Spanish Conversations for Beginners: Learn as You Sleep ruclips.net/video/1xUbcbKh87M/видео.html Additionally, we have an entire playlist featuring 5 videos like this: 📋 Playlist: Mexican Spanish Conversations ruclips.net/p/PLwGRQA8nDJ805Yo_gtzbrsyp5ts76tR_R We hope these faster-paced conversations bring you closer to mastering real-life Spanish! Hi Felix, thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to know that our content is appreciated. Your support keeps us motivated to create even more helpful resources for Spanish learners. Wishing you every success on your language journey! 😊
Thank you very much for the GREAT video. It’s very helpful that there is NO musical back ground; the different color of the words that to stand out the Pattern words; the big letters on the screen; the bolded Spanish sentences. I love this video. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for your kind words, @hle8746! We're delighted to hear that you found the video helpful. It's wonderful to know that the absence of background music, the different colors to highlight pattern words, the large text, and the bold Spanish sentences made your learning experience better. Your appreciation truly motivates us to keep improving and delivering content that supports your learning journey. 😊
Thank you again for your great content, I get so much out of it and your supplying the PDF with it makes a major difference. I can't wait for the next video and PDF. 😃

Why are all languages so complicated apart from English
Great question, @matthewglover9188! Every language has its own unique challenges and beauty. English might feel easier to some because it's widely used and accessible. But learning any new language opens up a whole world of opportunities and experiences! 😊 It's also important to note that this feeling is subjective. For most people, their native language feels easier because they've been surrounded by it since birth. Embracing the complexity of different languages enriches our understanding of diverse cultures.
31:35 hablar mas despacio y hablar mas lento. Why both ?
Hi @jakegoertzen8766, great observation! Both "hablar más despacio" and "hablar más lento" mean: "to speak more slowly," but there are subtle differences in preference and context. "Hablar más despacio" - is slightly more formal and is often used when requesting clarity or politeness, making it common in professional or neutral settings. "Hablar más lento" - is a bit more conversational and informal, though still widely understood and used. Including both forms in the lesson helps learners recognize and adapt to different ways native speakers express the same idea. Both are correct and can be used interchangeably in most situations.
On 20 words you have ticket to be billete and here it is boleto. What's the difference ?
Hi @jakegoertzen8766, great question! In Mexican Spanish, "boleto" is the most commonly used word for a ticket, especially for transportation or events. However, you might occasionally hear "billete" in certain regions or contexts, even though it's less common in Mexico. As a general rule, if you're in Latin America, "boleto" is the safer choice, while in Spain, "billete" is more commonly used. Thank you for bringing this up-it's always interesting to explore these regional differences!
This is very nice, however if you could please put a review chart or diagram of the phrases, it would be even better! Thank you 🙏
Thank you for your comment, @DavidCatan-p3g! We're glad you enjoyed the video. The full set of all phrases - the entire transcript of the video - is available via a special link provided in the video description. Cheers! 😊
Awesome. It's really made easy for the new learners
Thanks, @syzybukhari! We’re thrilled to hear that you find it helpful. Making learning easy and relax is what we're all about! 🇲🇽😊
This video is a must for all Spanish learners up through B1 and probably up into B2 (I am somewhere in between: a B1 with apprx 4700 word vocab). The patters are gold for sure, but another great thing it does is that it gives you a realistic amount of time to say the phrase on your own before they translate; if you can beat the English translation to the punch then you're presumably good-to-go on that phrase, right? Instant reward! I've seen so many lazy-minded videos slap that translation up there right away, making sure that you have no time to think, ergo to learn, on your own. I just watched this on my exercise bike. Should finish in about 110 miles (at 14+ mph)!
Hey Jack, thanks a lot! We’re thrilled to hear you find the video useful! 😊. You’re right, the realistic pauses are designed to give you just the right amount of time to think and respond. PS. After 110 miles on that exercise bike, not only will you be in top physical shape, but your Spanish will be at a whole new level too! Keep pedaling and learning! 💪🇲🇽
@@LingoDreams Lol that's 7 or 8 rides to go!
Lol! That's awesome, Jack! Keep going, and by the time you're done with those rides, both your fitness and Spanish will be in top form. Happy riding and learning! 💪
31:19 is this wrong? Should it be… I feel like staying home tonight Tengo ganas de quedarme en casa esta noche
@MW_1535 Thank you so much for your sharp eye and thoughtful comment! You're absolutely right that the inclusion of "esta noche" in the Spanish sentence would make it more precise to match the English phrase "I feel like staying home tonight." The version in the video isn’t entirely incorrect, but it does lack that additional detail. We appreciate you catching this nuance. It seems "tonight" in the English sentence may have slipped in unnecessarily, leading to this slight mismatch. The good news is that we've already corrected this in our latest video, a compilation of all our previous lessons, which premieres later today or tomorrow. Your feedback truly helps us improve, and it’s this kind of interaction with our audience that keeps us striving to make our content even better. Thanks again for contributing to the learning experience! 😊👏
Do you have a podcast?
Thanks for asking! Currently, we don't have a podcast and it's not in our immediate plans, but who knows? Maybe in the future!
@LingoDreams Thank you for this video. I find it very helpful.
So happy to hear that! Thank you very much! 🙏❤️
Awesome Video. I sence the progress that I am attaining
@drawdelrae That’s fantastic to hear! 😊 Progress is what we’re all about, and it’s so rewarding to know that our videos are helping you on your journey. Keep up the great work - you’re doing amazing! 🇲🇽✨"
There are soo many ads on this video
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that ads can be disruptive, and we will look into ways to improve the viewing experience. Your input is valuable to us.
Brilliant method! I watched another of your videos with background music, but I just couldn’t tune out the background music. Saw in the comments that you’d make one without music, so tried it right away! Thanks!
Hi @lauraon, Thank you so much for giving the new video a try and for your wonderful feedback! 🌟 I’m thrilled to hear that the version without music works better for you. It’s really important to me that everyone can learn in a way that feels comfortable and effective. 😊 Although I already mentioned this in your comment under the previous video, it doesn’t hurt to remind you that within the next few days, we’ll be posting a video on our channel featuring all the patterns taught so far, along with 27 new ones - without background music. We’re doing this to accommodate those who prefer just the narrator’s voice. I think you’ll like it and hope it becomes another valuable resource for your Spanish-learning journey! 🇲🇽✨ Your input, and that of other viewers, plays a huge role in shaping our content, so I truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Wishing you great success as you continue learning Spanish! 😊
Thank you, this made my day! I turned on notifications, so I am alerted when they become available 👍👍
And thank you for adding non-music versions to the previous ones!
@lauraon You’re so welcome! 😊 It’s amazing to hear that we could make your day - that’s what we’re here for! Thank you for turning on notifications and staying connected with us. We’re excited to share more content that helps you on your Spanish-learning journey. Your support means the world to us! 🇲🇽✨"
@lauraon It’s our pleasure! 😊 Thank you for being part of our community! 🇲🇽✨"
Really like how you have the words as well as the pronunciation, especially how you have the phrase that’s in the sentence a different color! Also, great pace! Is there a way to mute the music? I’m having a hard time focusing with it playing.
Hi @lauraon, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind comment! I’m thrilled to hear that you appreciate the way we present the words, pronunciation, and color-coded phrases - and I’m glad you like the pacing too! 😊 Regarding the music, I completely understand your point. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to mute it in this video since it’s designed to be a sleep-learning session, with relaxing music intended to help enhance focus and create a calm atmosphere. However, I also recognize that some viewers prefer to learn without background music. With that in mind, our newer videos are being produced without ambient music. One of these is already available here: 👉 ruclips.net/video/nZZIfF7ZAOQ/видео.html Additionally, later this week, we’ll be releasing a special compilation featuring 100 of the most popular language patterns with usage examples. This video will include 27 brand-new patterns alongside 73 from previous lessons, but all without music in the background - perfect for viewers who prefer a voice-only approach! 🎉 Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, and I wish you all the best on your Spanish-learning journey! 🌟🇲🇽
@ Wonderful! I just subscribed!
@lauraon That’s wonderful to hear! Thank you so much for subscribing - we’re thrilled to have you with us! 😊
Great concept but the music very quickly becomes extremely annoying and distracting, please lose it or upload a version without it thank you
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you like the concept, and we appreciate your input about the music. Our latest video on Spanish patterns is already without music, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/nZZIfF7ZAOQ/видео.html. We are also preparing a music-free compilation of all our previous pattern lessons, which will be released in the coming days. 😊🇲🇽
@ fantastic thank you so much for that 👍😉
No problem, stay tuned for our new video coming soon! 👍

@@LingoDreams Most instruction focusses on vocabulary and conjugation when building block sentences is more helpful. For another example, the best thing I learned in Spanish is ¿Cómo se dice…?
Thanks for your feedback, @rafaelallenblock! I agree, building block sentences (pattern method) can be very, very effective. I’m glad you found ‘¿Cómo se dice…?’ so helpful. 👍
Que incrível❤amei tudo bem explicado obrigado🙏💕
