Just mark where your previous nock point was with a sharpie (if you have black serving you can use a silver sharpie) and make sure you tie it in so it sits the same spot to save you the re tuning maybe 🤷‍♂️

Remarkable that this type of trapping is allowed as a "sport". It's one thing if you live out in the wilderness and have to feed yourself to survive. Even then it's questionable but understandable. It's a completely different ballgame if you do this for fun. Talk about unnecessary suffering.

I'm from NY too and I have been all over the Adirondacks and never seen one before. Until last year when I saw one run across the road in the daytime. It was so cool. And it's partly because of people like you who do the right thing that they're coming back.

In Alberta, we cannot use foothold traps for fisher. We need to use body grip traps.

That's what happens to me when I get a fisher tag. Than if I don't buy a tag, I get em in seasn

I just make a dirthole near the bottom of a pole set... Done. It goes up the pole, I got it, if it doesn't, I got it. Bonus is I also got a shot at any coyote, fox or bobcat that come along.
