Nicely done. If I may offer constructive feedback, I would have liked the shot duration to last a bit longer via the edit. Most shots were on screen for less than 2 seconds, and many only 1 second. This didn't allow me to appreciate the product, and the speed of the cuts didn't seem to match the pacing of the music and the slow peaceful movements of your model. Otherwise, if I owned a jewelry store, I'd hire you and your staff. :)

Great reaction to operating the R2...I appreciate your transparency! I operate it with the Ready Rig/Pro Arms and am thankfully able to accomplish most of the shots I need to get, but not without multiple takes. It's not my day job, so I'm not operating it frequently. Mostly, I want to 100% agree with your comments about the R2 being an incredible instrument when operated from a jib or car mount. When I'm working with it handheld, I'm constantly looking for the sweet spot in the speed/deadband/acceleration settings for SmoothTrack. And don't even get me started about how there's a total dearth of online training available for the R2 compared to the RS3/4.

Hey super cool to see your process, and incorporating AI! Seeing how you use generative fill, as a means of extending production design, has made me realise that it might be able to solve an issue for me in an upcoming shoot. Thus my question: Have you tested Generative fill with backgrounds that are out of focus, for instance when shooting a close up?

Great to see some filmmakers embracing AI despite all the noise out there. They will inevitably be on the wrong side of history. I utilized AI as well in generating backgrounds for product shots. Was a useful tool

A producer will simply employ a stronger person with better endurance. All steady rigs require strength and endurance. Why would a production house hire an operator who does not have what it takes to cut it ? Its like a woman entering world class male boxing.

The title of this is pretty misleading. These are tips on what to do to keep a job as a PA or how to get rehired as one. Not how to get a job as a PA if you’re just starting out and not yet in the business as the title implies. Should really change that.
