I don't own this music, all rights go to Ubisoft. Also I know this is available on PS2 as well as Wii (and also has a cat version cover) but I'm using Petz Dogz 2 on the Wii because that's the version I played as a child. Anyway this is an underrated game with a banger soundtrack, so enjoy. I'll get around to extending the rest of the soundtrack at some point.

Who knew Sapient mitochondria could be so terrifying
The theme being the normal battle theme took me by surprise. It made battles feel less threatening.
So freaking happy right now. Shes coming to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Yeah its a gacha game but the fact shes getting any love at all makes me so happy

Alas, they don't have the license anymore (Parasite Eve is a novel that the PS1 game is a loose adaptation/sequel to). Apparently they were dabbling with renewing the license in 2022, so maybe there's hope again, but nothing's come of it so far.
Genuinely, how was this soundtrack on the PS1? Absolutely insane.
The cd technically is what all it needed. The sky was the limit with the music
PS1 could literally do any kind of music due to the CD. You could put today's music on PS1

This is a BGM that takes me back to that time of the 3D boom for consoles. Not only the graphics were the ones that stood out, but the music also took a giant step, giving us beautiful pieces that convey feelings and emotions. What memories! thanks for sharing.

Yo did you do that??? It was super ridiculous and TBH I did it on an emulator. I just got the original disc but scared to climb those floors again...

@@DarkEinherjar Omg they were the absolute worst. I had to mark down all the locations after it inevitably killed me. Did you do it on real hardware?
@@Spitta504TV Not worth the IRL time investment. Did it on emulator, tho. Also, even the first SMG, if properly tuned, is OP to the point there's no such thing as superbosses. Hint: Burst (AoE from shotguns) cancel random fire and the best damage per second comes from 2 shots per turn (+20% damage). 3 shots is slightly better (+25% damage) but you will spend one whole second locked into the firing animation, making it harder to dodge incoming attacks. I would recomend invest the first 40 bonus points into range tho and aways keep your ATB at the same level as Aya (you will lose something between 3-5 bps per playthrough, but will profit a lot more by not getting hit). Also aways cast haste at the start of the battle, unless you need to break free from a siege. It will make the battle much easier and you will get the PE right back. As for the mimics, I cheated, blatantly. Not worth the 50 bps into critical defense...
@@Spitta504TV About 2 or 3 times, yes. But at that point, I'd leave the building and save after every boss. I also only entered it once with less than 700 HP...
