Adapting to a rapidly changing world - Stories from two ends of the earth (12 December 2024)
Organisms adapt to new challenges by changing their behaviour, appearance, and survival strategies. Today's world presents unprecedented challenges, as urban development and climate change rapidly transform natural spaces. In this webinar, the speaker will share their research on two remarkable animals: the Indian rock agama (a lizard found in Bengaluru's rocky outcrops and city spaces) and the great pond snail from the rocky mountains of Canada. Both species demonstrate incredible ways wildlife adapts to changing environments. Join us to discover how these animals survive and thrive, and learn to better appreciate urban wildlife.

Thank you for explaining this clearly. I have been a Farmizen customer for over a year now and I see the effort Farmizen puts in to bring fresh produce to our homes directly from farmers.

Phenomenal innovation and efforts in a field which is far less known in a country like India . This is need of the hour to make our farmers empowered beyond the traditional methodology and varieties . This revolutionary blend of modern and conventional times & ideas is surely essential to make farming more than what it looks like . We need more flavours , ingredients and nutrition than what our taste buds & body is used to . The sustainable approach for every link in the food chain is commendable and need mass adoption. Looking forward to a RUclips channel and Insta account to know & understand the vastness of the subject firsthand.
