That’s not how the SWAC Standings work. Each team only has 8 conference games. Jackson state has 2 games (southern and Grambling) outside of those initial 8 that they scheduled in “non conference games” because their rivals rolled of the schedule, but they still wanted to play each other. There are technically 10 SWAC schools on Jackson schedule.
