Hi, The wooden door smart lock which used 4 pcs double AA battery, usage is abt 15 times per day, it can last around 8 months. It's depend on how frequent u use it. But if u remotely unlock the smart lock frequently through apps, the batteries will consume fast too. if emergency ur lock suddenly no battery u can use powerbank to recharge it

First of all, If u mean the other brand smart lock.... yes certainly everyone still can enter it. Becoz most of the parts is destroyed and the lock function is down. But for the Abrain, even the body hit till dented, but it is still locked, U still CAN use key to unlock it like normal door lock while other is part is destroyed. It depend on how the vandalism situation also, if it hurt the the key mechanism part confirm the key also wont function, but if jus the electro parts

That one is for older version, now updated version got built-in gateway no need to another smart gateway.

Sorry late reply...becoz the lock cylinder is in the center of the wooden door.... u cant put in ur hand into smart lock there to unlock it... so u need the long key (smart lock depth is abt 5cm 😅) or u can whatsapp me at 016-4183846...i will show to u by video

Good Question 👍 Let us Clarify 1 thing... Grill Door purpose is ANTI-THEFT BUT NOT FOR FIRE, am I right? Let talk about the 2 conditions... Condition 1: House on Fire with normal padlock and normal level lock. In emergency case, you still need to find out the key, and open the grill lock. If u r panic, and key cant found ! Then SORRY !!! Condition 2: House Fire with Abrain Grille Door Lock In emergency case, direct use your finger or password to unlock and rush out... Then You r SAFE !!!! That is too many things that we cant predict !!! Example like gas cylinder in our kitchen, we need to use it everyday, but there is risk of fire too... BUT, we cant stop to use !!! am i right? That's why developer just provide the wooden door but not the grille door. Grille door got the hidden danger of unable to unlock issue and more challenge to Bomba while they r firefighting relief. WHAT WE CAN DO is take the right choice and solution to minimize the risk. Use the Full Access Feature like Abrain Grille Door Lock better in this situation ! Front and Back panel come with Fingerprint, Password to unlock Safer in emergency condition and Easy and convenient in daily usage.. My advice is dont get the grille door lock that just come with remote control or mobile unlock inside... Very INSECURE and UNSAFE !!! Thanks for the question 😁
