Tusks of Mannoroth dropped on 405th attempt! I kept track using a rarity string to keep count on attempts. I did ∼200 of those attempts with coins, spamming after i did garrosh on all my plate characters. I finally got it yesterday on the 5 alt
i finally got it this morning, reacted the same way
373 attempts is nothing. I have thousands of attempts over the years and it's never dropped.
Gratz on the kill - Roots 2 phase 1 netherwalk and fel barrage do you use that combo quite often?
I would guess that 50% of the time a beam goes over me in P1, so i would have to sit netherwalk till it went past and cancel it after. Felbarrage/immo/ragefire does damage when you're in netherwalk, so opting to not cancel is fine, but you'd lose a blade dance/sigil of flame cast probably.

I just looted it on mythic and it's blue for some reason....
Because stupidly enough, the blue and red version drop on mythic.

Seeing in the comments people saying 5000+ tries make me feel sad. I lose the account , I have been farming this since Mist of Pandaria, more than 8 years and still nothing. That mount does not exist :(

how often can you kill him for the mount chance per character? is it once per week?
and the character has to be level 35 or higher to have a chance at looting the mount
