Big fan, Ross! Was introduced to Haken in the last few years, and have loved your work with the Trio (DMJ). After seeing an IG post with the song Grounded, I told my wife about it (who also loved the Trio album) and said we need to get it!... You don't need to tell me twice. I've loved the album! So many cool influences, and it's great to hear that you enjoy some similar bands I grew up listening to. Much love from UT.

After listening to the album a few times, I was getting more and more blown away by the drums. So much that I had to go online and search for who this guy is. I watched all the RUclips vids that I could find with Simen. I love the drums on Shadows of My Future Self. Really tasty! My latest favorite track is Phoenix, although all the songs take turns being my favorite. I like Phoenix because it takes me on such a journey through the various sections. In my car, I'll hit "repeat" four or five times when I just can't get enough of that song.

Oddly, I am a long-time Haken fan who believes Ross' single solo album is 1,000x stronger than the entire Haken catalog. He should quit the band and go solo....wasting his talent in that (great) band.

Sometimes I find a song I like so much that I'll listen to it on repeat for weeks on end. At the moment, it is this song. Also, the entire album is amazing.

Honestly wasn't expecting much, just because I'm not a huge country/indie pop music fan and music that feels too happy(I'm not a masochist, I just like diverse feeling in music. I've been playing it for a few weeks and is amazing. Even snuck it in my pop playlist I have for friends who aren't metal/prog fans...so all of them, they really liked it. I'm hoping I can slowly ease them in my music with this album and a few others
