The only thing I struggle with as wizzard are crossbow fighters/rogues/ rangers who don't try to fight me. They only peek, shoot and they never run me down. If i come close, I get meleed. Any tips ?

What I often try to do is dodge as many arrows as possible and be close enough so I can catch them reloading. But I will do a follow-up episode dealing with the ranged characters in a couple weeks.

@@ondru9207wizard can use crossbow too, run it with crystal ball and rondel or staff and just out crossbow them

Yeah I think it’s still viable but would change out antimagic for either staff mastery or ice shield. And I would use ignite instead of flamewalker to go with staff master.

For sure! Will be doing a tips and tricks video in the future. I think the most important thing for new players is to learn how to clear pve whithout taking any damage. To be at a health disadvantage is, atleast in this game a big deal.

I wanted to see how the concept did before taking the time to add the extra bits, but will definitely do that in the future. Tack för responsen!

I do think that 325 ms is a bit excessive, I have a new vid coming out prob next week where I sacrifice some ms for damage and hp, don’t know if you run staff mastery but I’ve found out that it helps out a lot against cut throat rogue. For my part I like the utility from 10-spell a lot more than spell overload but might have to experiment with that in the future. Thanks for your input!

@@abed4530 insta cast is huge. I run ice mastery. Haste, ice bolt, fireball, zap, chain. I only fight with haste, I fireball for most entry depending on distance. I’ll start with bolt queued on entry most times and I’ll challenge all rooms while my cleric bard stay spaced. Usually I can kill one. If we already have space it’s fireballs all day until I can straight line them with bolts. Usually insta cast is able to be used twice maybe even 3 times in one fight so if I’m stuck I haste with the insta or I continue to damage. An ice bolt attempted kill on whoever is hugging door/corner ( rogue, fighter, warlock, barb) as I pull into my boys usually is an easy over the shoulder zap finish. Most of the time people run. I have a 13 kd in normals, in hr it’s lower but that’s because I don’t like this season much. I have a 6kd in 74 hr goblin cave games. I play a lot of staff in gobs. I run arcane shield but switch my ice mastery for staff mastery, also ice shield instead of the cast speed bonus, overload, and knowledge. Haste, invis, fireball, magic missile, ignite. Don’t usually need much more. Don’t know if it still works damage wise or cast speed at the stats I said at that budget. haven’t even tried to look into the gear capabilities now because all of my gear is ruined lol. Like 4 normals games since patch then started playing dayz. looking forward to your vids popping up

If you want a gear description I love giving the sauce. Rawhide with will or magipower, oracle robe with magic damage bonus and agility/max health, padded leggings with 3 agi + magic bonus, oracle boots + movespeed, wizard hat add magic damage max health, whatever double relevant roll cloak with add magic, same with rings but doesn’t have to be triple relevant like the cloak. Can be 2 will 2 add magic or a 3 resourcefulness with 2 add magic and 2 magipower. Ya know. Whatever is cheaper. Don’t be afraid to spend on some pieces. Gloves are hard to find. I don’t like true magic. Much prefer the scaling with all forms of damage and the body multiplier. Obviously if you’re balling out all of it should be purple vigor or max health with all 3 relevant rolls

For sure! I've been saving up some money recently so I might be building a 50k set soon and might be trying out either inta cast or arcane shield as you said.

only for people with 10k + gold in their invs all the time. i cant play the game every single day, 2k for a budget kit is really rediculous. saying that you need 2k gold to have the minimun needed to fight someone is very stupid. Adn i know that wizard sucks if you dont have ms and +11 true damage.

@@ung0liant brother, I can EASILY make like 200-300g a game on NORMALS in highroller I can make like 700-1000g a game without PVP and not looting gear and just going for collectables gold isnt hard to get not to sound like an ass but it just kinda sounds like a skill issue

I forgot at to switch at first, later on in the video I went with fire mastery instead. Although now that you mention it I think reactive shield or ice shield would be a better alternative.👌

I don't really have a reason, I think I just left it on from the latest patch and now that you've said it I might reconsider switching to eather quick chant or reactive shield. However I do like the burn which makes wizards being unable to invis away directly after being fireballed or zapped. Thanks for the input!
