Hey guys, although Shelly is gone now I e been rocken with these guys since the late 70’s they were one of my favorite bands. You guys knew how how to jam hard. You came to my town a couple of times San Antonio received you well with Kmac kiss stone city attractions.

When Julius Caesar chased us from our grounds back in 55 BC, a lot of "us" fled to Britanny in France and then crossed the channel to arrive in England. Engel Land. Land of the Angels. Coming from French Brittony and seeing the lands we arrived at were the same as in France, we called it "the Greater Brittony" or, hey, Great Brittan. Towns like Brighton were originally Belgian settlements. Anyway, I saw Budgie three years in a row at the Reading Rock Festival. 1980, 1981 and 1982. Best three-piece band I ever saw and heard, despite Motorhead and ZZ-top.
