St Mary's Kidderminster were honoured to be able to welcome some special visitors today.
Ringers from, mainly, Trinity Church Manhattan but also from further afield rang our bells today during a tour of the UK.
Their bells are considered to be the sister bells of our own twelve and were cast from the same moulds as ours were at Taylors of Loughborough in 2004 although they were installed in their tower at a later date (2006)
We hope they enjoyed their time with us and will, maybe, return again one day.

Our final visit of the day was to St Mary & the Virgin in Kempsey on the outskirts of Worcester. Another video of rounds but this time with a twist. The bells are anti-clockwise here so it's brain reversal time.

Can’t believe my Grandparents did this wonderful video. I remember watching the old bells being put on the lorries. We were the little children, watching them next to the fence, Me and my little brother. I miss my Grandmother who is voicing this video, I think of her everyday. But Thank you for giving us this incredible opportunity, Granddad, (Alan Taylor) and those who organised this wonderful moment and memory to my heart! - Ben

I enjoyed that. I just watched the whole thing. Wow what a difference between old and new and video is a wonderful historical record of the work done. I know it was a few years ago now but well done to all involved
Thank you, my Grandfather would've been chuffed to hear that. Still cant believe this happened all those years ago. I was only 8 years old and my little bro, 6 years old. Just watching this again and finally seeing this on RUclips almost made me tearful of joy. Its a shame that my Grand Mother (Pauline Taylor) isn't around to watch this with us again. Reliving this memory reminded me of how happy and how excited I was when watching the bells being loaded and manually lowered from the tower. Incredible memories and if I was able to travel back in time I would've loved to re-witness it again. Thank you again for your kind words on this video. This video means a whole lot to me and my family and this wonderful video is all we have left of my Grandmother.
