Had a lovely evening at Oswestry with Matt Luke and the Plukes!! First time Ive raced indoors here and its an interesting "carpet" to say the least, more of a felt than carpet with no grip what so ever. Had to turn everything down, brakes, boost, turbo and throttle and set the rear to to 4 degrees and it got round in the end. The final was all about consistency. Paul was much faster but I kept ...

I found the car a little pushy last week, trying to understeer at speed, so I lowered the diff oil to 30k and gave it some front tow out and it felt a million times better. Had a go at track designing this week. I thought the cross over was awesome and it was nice and wide. Great race. snuck into the lead then tried my hardest to screw my self up.

2nd run out with the new Xb2 25 and I love it very much. I was lucky here to get away at the start and get a clear gap. It was all plain sailing until I lapped Bob, then he unlapped himself. This kinda knocked my cinfidence because he was in his batterered old car. This allowed Ian to catch up, then one silly mistake and let Ian through. First meeting with my new XB2 25. Its a stunning peice of kit. I love the new car, still a long way to go with the set up but I was able to catch people today who normally lap me. I thought I drove ok for the first 4 minutes, managed to get in the lead for about 4 corners, but a silly tangle and a few mistakes and my head went. Love the car, more to come. #xray #xb2

A brilliant but tricky track at Dudley for the first round of the winter series. The far right corner had the double carousel which was difficult to get round cleanly. Loads of people got stuck underneath them, and loads of crashes all around them. Made the D, started 6th, finished 4th. Had a cracking day in the pits though sourrounded by really good people.

The summer has come to an end and we are now back indoors and at Midlands Raceway for the first round of their winter series. Had great fun racing with Whelan all day, both really close on times. Just the carnage seperating us. The track was tight and very technical, which made the racing slightly scrappy. Lots mistakes by all let to everyone sticking their elbows out and just going for it. Let me start with an apology: Dear Charlie, I should have waited. I am sorry. Tom (comment below, wait or no wait) It was a wet soggy day and the grip levels were low. Ive been racing Marc all sumer in the regionals and wanted to do one over him today. Some very tricky conditions made racing very difficult. Had loads of fun as always in the trucks with great people. Buy a truck, do the nationals.
